This is a very nice hotel if you want to stay away from downtown and close to Tangji University. There is a subway station very close and it's easy to go around the city. Breakfast has a lot of options and there is always someone around speaking English. The problem is the internet connection at the rooms. I stayed at...

It's a lovely place satisfying all basic needs. Not extremely far form central Shanghai, yet not in a downtown either. The rooms are large. And a little noisy. I struggled with sleep. The food was quite ok and stuff was lovely. Terrible wifi.

At Kingswell every detail is important. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The breakfast is plenty of food - european and chinese traditional. Very good location near the metro station and university. The transfer from and to airport could be arranged at convenient price.

Stayed for three visits whilst on a visit to Tongji University as the hotel is basically on the doorstep of the University campus, there are also lots of little shops and restaurants around the hotel. I had one of the suite rooms on the 6th floor which was very comfortable and breakfast was quite traditional with some western dishes.

It was a business trip to Tongji University in May, 2015. Hotel is corresponds to all requirements to 3* hotel. Breakfast was traditional chineese with respect to european traditions. Hotel is close to the subway station Tongji University. There are a wide choice of cafe and small shops with fruits and drinks in 5-minute walk distance. Wi-fi, as usual in...

The hotel offers good value and generally a (mostly) very good service level. People at the reception speak decent English. The location right next to the university campus and the metro line no 10 is highly convenient. The furniture in the rooms has come into its years, but is still ok. Breakfast buffet (chinese / western) is good quality.

Bright, light room (the lightest I've had so far in China) at a good price and located in a quiet district only 5 Metro stops from Nanging East Stn. and the Bund. Also excellent breakfast. The hotel is 50 metres walk from Tongli University (Line 10) exit 2.I will certainly be using it again on my next stay in Shanghai!

I was very pleased with the hotel. Clean, properly furnished rooms. Kept up. Good lobby. Good staff. Great value with breakfast. Location is not in the heart of the city. Quiet at night. Windows open. Good neighborhood with services/shops. Short walk to Tongji University. Shorter walk to underground transit line 10. Excellent transit system, clean, efficient, cheap, $3US for all...

Rooms are spacious and comfortable with good wifi. The location is convenient for Tongji University and the metro station is close by. The fridge with free drinks and snacks is a nice touch, and room service also working fine. Breakfast has a lot of choice. The hotel does not have a particular ambiance, but it is good place to stay...

The best thing about this hotel is that it is very close to the metro station which links you to most of the tourist attractions - Nanjing East Road, Xintiandi, Shanghai Zoo, Yuyuan Garden. The line also takes you yo Wujiachang, where Shanghai's First Food Mall is. As far as the hotel is concerned, it is average, no complains, and...
