A nice, peaceful hotel away from your usual hustle and bustle in Shanghai with sufficient amenities. Room size was spacious, clean and comfortable equipped with relatively fast broadband. Food was decent. The only drawback? It is very far from city. If you need to visit friends in the city, do cater for ample traveling time to/fro. Overall experience, a good...

This is a very nice hotel, not your typical Shanghai experience. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing, not the hustle and bustle of the big city and not over crowded. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Shanghai.

Off-peak and very quiet time here. Breakfast was good and a comfortable stay. Generally the staff has no English and so it would be difficult for a Foreign tourist. Overall, it was a modest but pleasant stay.

The hotel is clearly build for functions and convention or for families wanted to spend weekend in a resort, especially to visit the nearby Happy Valley Themepark and the next door Playa Maya waterpark as well as the She Shan golf club. The hotel is some distance away from the Shanghai CBD and not so convenient for business, except for...

I had to stay at the hotel for a business trip but otherwise would have moved immediately. Upon arrival on 26 October (at 11pm) the receptionist promised my room would have a double bed and promised my colleagues room would not be a corner unit. My colleague, who speaks fluent mandarin made this request to the receptionist (because she was...

Having visited China many times now on business over 15 years, the five star hotel experience has changed and improved dramatically. I stayed in this hotel when it first opened as one of the initial guests. At the time it was fresh and new. Unfortunately now it has become a bit dated, however, was overall quite agreeable for the required...

Le Meridian is a luxury brand and for an expensive hotel brand this hotel was a bit disappointing. Though the room and the hotel itself was clean and spacious, it didn't offer top-notch service and some of the amenities were low quality. It claims to be a resort but doesn't offer the best services that a resort should. It's very...

First, I did not stay in any hotels under SPG brand, this is my first time stayed in SPG property. BUT, you sucks and be the worst. As this is a children-friendly hotel, when we arrived 2 p.m. there are many people waiting for check-in, and we were told the room preparation time would be at least 3 p.m. A...

It actually may have been a great hotel a few years back, looks like a resort, but for a business stay it was not good. The room was HOT, AC never cooled the room adequately, the room was dark, internet slow, and tv selection for English options on the light side. Never ate breakfast in the hotel and if it...
