Regency club has great food and service, staff was great as well. Location is great, gym has amazing views as well as fantastic service. IFC mall nearby is great for shopping. Right across from the hotel is the new shanghai tower which is the tallest building in china and second tallest in the world. Great location for tourists and very...

My mother and I first stayed here on a business trip in August, 2016. We met the Chef de Cuisine, Stephen and he was so friendly and caring. We decided to visit Shanghai again as tourists and have stayed 10 days, January, 2017. Again Stephen's friendliness and excellent attention at mealtimes has made our stay here really fantastic! The food...

The room is as good as the expensive hotel and the view is also good. There is a bar at the higher level and the atmosphere is good there. I want to know what kind of explanation is needed. It will be good to find and book a discounted event. It is a very good hotel.

Rooms are all located above 53 floor of JinMao Tower, one of the earliest skyscrapers in Pudong. That means each room will have an excellent view of Shanghai CBD Lujiazui (depending on your location). Night views are excellent. Design of Shanghai Grand Hyatt is definitely more modern that the one in Beijing. Location is excellent and well connected to the...

Located at Jin Mao Tower, one of the three most prominent and tallest buildings in the Pudong area, the location is no doubt good for business and not so bad for leisure too. Within walking distance to subway, IFC mall etc, the hotel location is well linked to main places you need to go to in Shanghai as a tourist....

Stayed here two nights for a business trip. Very efficient and business friendly property. The bar on the 87th floor has impressive views. Those who are allergic to smoke must be aware. Breakfast has wide range. Coffee can be slow to arrive and water is charged separately. Rooms have great views and are well appointed.

Dear bhusawal, Thanks for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Thank you for your kind compliments on the rich and tasty breakfast. I’m glad you had the chance to visit our Cloud 9 bar on the 87th floor, which is one of the highest bars with sweeping views of Shanghai. It is disappointing to learn about the slow...

The stay was pleasant and the room condition and location was great. Located in one of Shanghai's tallest skyscrapers the view was also excellent. There are shops and convenient stores nearby and MTR station was close.

I stayed here in business, attended a work conference and dined at their restaurants. The best part .... amazing views. It's nothing short of iconic! There's a real sense of Shanghai's modernity and scale as you sit perched at their many restaurants or the guest room(s), each one offering a different angle of the 360 degree views. Breakfast was vast...

Rooms are nice and large, nothing is missing, but design is a bit aged. Fitness well equipped, breakfast has a lot to offer, staff always friendly. Restaurants are spread on several floors, which might be the only point of critic.

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
