Have just stayed in this hotel during a working stay, and they were very accommodating in my requirements while there. I worked very unsociable hours but nothing was too much for the chambermaid through to reception. The gym and restaurant was well in service and quality of foo d. My only point in the restaurant is the staff can be...

Enjoyed the hotel, found the pool and spa very nice to relax. Breakfast was a good value and quality was good for the price. Was really surprised on high pricing for the Szechuan Garden restaurant... food was good, not great but the price was 2-3x too high... watch your wallet!

The Hilton in Jing'an is a good hotel and pretty well located if you're in Shanghai for a spot of sightseeing....being a cheap taxi ride to the Bund and other popular areas. Rooms are well appointed and well maintained despite being a little dated. Bathroom is immaculately clean with beautiful towels. Breakfast in the lobby cafe is an extensive buffet...

As Diamond, I was upgraded to a suite without asking. Thanks a lot. Just what I needed. Also, I got Exec Lounge access, which I was able to use for Happy Hour (=Dinner) and breakfast. Very good. Nice view over the city. The bar on the top floor was not well frequented despite very good live music (smooth jazz) and...

I've stayed in quite a few Hiltons and this one is definitely one of the best. Recommend going to top floor/bar at night to see some of the fantastic views. The gym/spa is is 1st class with everything you could ask for gym, pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc.... My tip for anyone considering this is to check out Hilton honours first...

Excellent trip. I will certainly encourage my friends and relatives to travel to Shanghai and enjoy all that it has to offer. My friend and I meet a relative who lives and works in Shanghai and was terrific in being our guide around town.

These days with 4 wheeler luggage, the thick carpet along the room corridor and in the room made it really hard to wheel it freely. Even though the room is clean, it could also do with a refresh. Signs of wear and tear and stains can be seen. Service was OK but I guess it was also because the hotel...

Hilton Shanghai although is one of the oldest hotel in Shanghai. The well maintenance of the facility does not show any signs of being old. The bed was fantastic and the room size was nice. See friendly staffs everywhere in the hotel and the housekeeper was fantastic as well

Staying in Jing'an

Neighbourhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
