I am shocked the hotel which is located within CBD area charges for internet. Been a long while since someone said that to me. Even at the Holiday Inns the internet is complimentary. However great breakfast but may I suggest to include Skim milk at your cereal section. A stationary bike in the gym may be worth the investment. Common...

Huge room with modern amenities. Very very quiet - absolutely no noise from adjoining rooms. Service was great. Views were very good (room 1212). 2-3 minute walk from Oriental Pearl and subway. On site dining options are expensive (but it is 5*) lots of options right outside the door though.

I stayed in Gran Melia about a year ago. Service of the hotel is excellent and structure of the design is pleasant as well. Not only the service and architecture but landscape of the most rooms are amazing. In addition, it is close enough to the centre of Shanghai by taxi.

The price ($130 through expedia) of the hotel is very reasonable. But there are many reasons to seek other options in Shanghai. The service is unsatisfactory. Trying to reach the front desk from my room, for example, my call was never picked up (I did, admittedly, give up after two minutes on the line). I'd advise not ordering room service...

Checked in for 3 nights at the end of our trip and although we're not even halfway through our stay yet I've decided to write a review already as I'm really impressed with this hotel. I booked online via Agoda - around £110 per night (not including breakfast) for the 3 of us (son is 12 so can still share...

As the Hotel is very good located, I have often chosen it because it's convenient and because of the fantastic view. Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
