I came here in June for a short stay while changing apartments. I rather like this hostel feels nice, and has a nice environment. It's quite quaint, and I like staying here. They make me feel welcome, the only problem is the rooms are way...More
I picked this place based on reviews read here and on other sites.
I was arriving at about 0130 at Pudong and needed a place to sleep for one night before moving on.
The hotel could arrange pick-up, said I could pay by credit card...More
The hostel is in a charming neighbourhood, with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The area is full of old world charm and great to walk around. The family room was more then fine with a bunk bed and double,...More

The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
