We stayed 5 nights at the end of September 2012 and although the staff on the island are wonderful (particular mention of Filo the beauty therapist at the Spa) the resort is so expensive to eat at, that it ruined our trip. Come on - $24 for a hamburger and another $13 for a bowl of fries! We had a...

Stayed here for our final 5 nights on our honeymoon. There were a few more families than we had expected but had a beautifully private beach front bure so it didn't really bother us. The Bure itself was amazing, a gorgeous interior with a large spa, air-con, open plan room with double glass doors leading out to your deck with...

I was fortunate enough to stay in the honeymoon bures after a free upgrade due to renovations and the room was amazing. The cleanest and most luxurious place I have ever stayed. Located right on the beach, you wake up to waves at your doorstep. The resort puts on lots of night entertainment and daytime activities and although the island...

Mana is a truly beautiful island with incredible beaches and lagoons. The colors in the water are what you expect in a tropical destination. It is a resort that caters for families so you will find yourself sharing the main area with many other people. We stayed for 5 nights with our two children 5 and 8 after a short...

Dinning is 3 stars, rooms 3-4 stars depending which one you get. Rooms are much better inside than they look from the outside. Staff are sooo friendly and want to help, but just slow with service. The staff seem great with kids. Buffet brekkie is just ok. Meals at South beach restaurant are like good pub food. Prices $32 to...

We stayed 5 nights on Mana back in August for our honeymoon. We went knowing it's a resort which is more popular with families and we were fine with that. Our expectations were real so we weren't disappointed with our choice. We just wanted somewhere to relax and unwind, snorkel and lay on the beach and Mana catered to all...

Mana is a very simple resort in the Mamanucas. If you are looking for something cost friendly that gets you the experience of the outer Fiji islands this is an ok location and resort. I believe our stay would have been nicer if we did not encounter the following: - Unfortunately when we were there a lot of construction was...

I travelled to Mana Island in July 2012 with my family for 6 nights (13 year old, 19 year old, 22 year old being myself and my mother and father) The island itself is 5 star- beautiful clean warm water, fine white sand with palm trees all along the beach. It was truly spectacular and looks just like the pictures....

We have just returned from five nights at Mana Island and loved it! We arrived via South Sea Cruises with several other guests. After a group check in type process we were off to find our island bure. The bure was clean and comfortable and the outdoor shower was great. We decided to give the buffet a miss and dined...

If you set your expectations away from a 5 star resort (which it isn't) you will be OK. The resort is 40 years old and in a lot of spots you can tell this easily. But it is a great spot for a family holiday. My wife and 3 kids (8, 6 and 4) loved it. The beaches are great,...
