Family of 4 with two kids, thank God for the water and fish for the snorkelling. We stayed for 7 days, probably 1-2 days too long in the same place. The accomadation is average, outdated with poor lighting and room service, or no room service at all, at varying hours very late in day or 9am. Staff are friendly, food...

Just returned from my second trip to Plantation Island Resort. Once again I loved the experience. For me a holiday is all about lying on the beach, swimming in the magnificent water, snorkelling, paddle boarding etc. It's such a bonus to have sandy beaches on the island which is missing from many resorts on the Coral Coast. My room was...

Plantation Island was a great place to relax, unwind and bring in the New Year! This was my second visit to Plantation. Fiji time is actually a thing, and at first hard to adjust to, but once you accept it you really feel like you are on holiday, and appreciate living to enjoy time instead of having time dictate to...

This was our fourth family holiday to Fiji. Negatives: Do not stay here if you are a returning visitor to Fiji. That fantastic friendly Fijian service you got on your last trip is no where to be found at Plantation Island Resort! The staff are tired and over it. The guests have nick named the water sports attendant 'Grumpy Mike'...

Bula Apologies for our creating such a negative impression on this your fourth trip. We sincerely regret this. Public Conveniences, although old and scheduled for redevelopment are cleaned thoroughly three times daily, as are the main Restaurant floors. I have though just discussed your feedback with our Housekeeper who will attend tonight to see if our schedule needs increasing. these...

We stayed here for two nights on the 9th and 10th of November 2016. We are a family of 4, had our 2 and half year old and 5 month old with us. We were right on the beach side and it was so wonderful swimming whenever we felt like it and for the kids to see fishes in the...

It was our first time to this Island. It is beautiful; we were in awe when we first arrived - the water is clear and you could clearly see the little fish swimming past you! We did not want to leave the beach! Stayed in a studio garden bure - it was renovated so that was nice. POSITIVES: The beach...

Bula We appreciate the review, and are glad you had a good holiday, enjoyed the Island and found so many positives. The resort itself is nearly fifty years old and due for some major redevlopmen works, commencing we hope mid year this year. These would eventually include the Kids Club and Dining areas. Also, we are in the process of...

The location is incredible. We went for our honeymoon and had a blast. The water is SO warm and clear. Just a short ferry from the main island so it was convenient to get to that sort of beauty. We stayed 5 days and that seemed like the perfect amount of time. It was a very fun trip. However...... We've...

Bula Chris Thank you for your review, and its great to see you had a blast... Anandas Restaurant is currently closed and this is on our Website, in-house Compendiums and Maps will be changed shortly once final dates on the redevelopment of the Anandas Prescient are finalized. The Fijian culture and nature is non-confrontational, and sometimes reactions can be misconstrued....

Bula, Bula, We caught the 2pm Malolo ferry Cat from Denerau to Plantation Island which takes approx 50 mins. Our studio no. 304 was next to the main swimming pool and close to the beach (great location). Our 9yr old daughter had a wonderful time using the free sporting amenities that were available, kayaking, paddle boards, kids play ground in...

In brief, unless you get a really good price to stay at Plantation Island Resort, I'd recommend you don't. The whole resort (rooms, restaurants, communal areas, toilets etc) needs some serious maintenance. Everything feels grubby, grimy and run down. It seems like the owners have absolutely no interest in the place and, as a result, neither do the staff. ROOMS:...

Bula Please accept our apologies for not meeting your expectations, and letting you down in so many ways. Your experiences are certainly not our normal practices and we will learn from your feedback. As you would be aware NYE was very windy and did cause rubbish and party favours to be blown all over the beach area where the function...
