We went to the island as a day trip from our cruise ship. We were told that it would take 20 minutes to get there by boat transfer. Nearly an hour later we arrived. Most of the people on board were getting a little irritated as it wasn't the most comfortable trip. When we arrived we had a buffet lunch...

We spent 2 night on Beachcomber, it was quiet when we stayed so there wasn't much of the 'party' island vibe happening but they still had nightly activities and music and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was easy to meet other guests around the bar or at lunch/dinner and everyone was friendly and social. Food is average, buffet breakfast,...

Very different from our other island experiences. Staff was stressed and busy, we waited in line for 20 minutes for lunch and they ran out of cutlery and salad when it was our turn (it was as a included buffet), bar was very expensive compared to others (6$ for a can of soda) and they handled our luggage very badly...

This is the so-called Party island. Although there was music and dancing, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Fiji is more about the chilling- not the partying. Lovely walk around the island, clear waters and a great beach bar. There's a Fijian show and limbo in the evenings which was fun, especially once you've had a few of the resident...

Stayed for 2 nights and left on the earlier boat back to port. While staff were polite they were hard to find and not engaging. Breakfast was great. Lunch and dinner included rice and there wasn't much choice. Heard it was a party Island, no parties happened here. Found it boring

We stayed one night on the Island in early January. There was a good range of activities from jet skiing, kayaking, snorkel trips etc, it is also a beautiful spot to kick back, have a cocktail and enjoy the soft sand. The staff were great fun and put 100% effort into making the evening lively and exciting (dancing, fire throwing...

Me and my boyfriend stayed for three nights over the New Year's Eve period. We loved our time on the Island the only thing we would change, would be the food and possibly staying in our own room and not a dorm just because it gets so hot. We understood that there were a lot of people to feed especially...

A smaller boat gets you out to Beachcomer Island (also less crowded). Friendly staff and lots of activities. However, lunch was very poorly done which was a disappointment but didn't stop us enjoying the day

We only visited here for a day trip booked through Moana tours!. Told the boat trip would be 20 minutes when in fact it took an hour. Of course Fijians were very hospitable, and the waters are clear and blue and snorkeling ordinary, however the meal served was almost inedible. Blow flies flying over the food which consisted of gluggy...

A large group of us travelled to Beachcomber Island in Nov. Our group consisted of adults and 8 children. Now the beach is littered with smoke butts and broken glass, there are drunken people everywhere and not alot to do if the weather is bad which it was (not the islands fault). It is definitely a backpackers style accommodation definitely...
