We stayed 3 nights in early November. It was awesome! There weren't many others there so it was a very peaceful get away. Easy to get to from Suva, all the staff were lovely. Big meals really tasty! The reef is beautiful and easy to...More
White sandy beach, traditional bure accommodation units, activities for the entire family, very affordable.... what else could you want?
It's a short 30 minute boat ride from Bau landing, which is around 30 minutes from Suva central. The island boat is very comfortable and makes...More
A weekend trip to Leleuvia to celebrate a friend's birthday, along with a number of other families was a resounding success. Leleuvia is the hidden gem located just a short trip from Suva via speedboat.
Bures are basic, but clean and well maintained, with how...More
We just loved this place.
It was so quiet, I think we were maybe only 3 couples staying at Leleuvia Island resort.
The place is amazing, you can walk around the island at low tide. It’s really impressive because you can see what the cyclone...More

The Saturday night meal is called Lovo and is a barbecue of chicken, pork and vegetables that are buried in foil and cooked in coals in the ground. Yummy. It was accompanied by salads. The breakfasts are buffet style and consist of several types of cereals, hot oatmeal, breads and fruits. Also included are tea, coffee, and juice. Eggs and omelettes are available for a charge. The lunch is served to you and are generally BBQ or wraps with a side dish. The dinners when not Lovo are served to you and are an entree with one or two side dishes and usually begin with a very tasty soup. Most of the dinners when I visited were fish as entree. Although I'm not a big fish eater, it was some of the best fish dinners I have ever eaten. The chef really knows his stuff. Dessert is not included with any of the meals but ice cream, cheesecake or cake is available anytime for a charge. There is a full bar so drinks are available for purchase anytime. The nice thing is upon checking in to Leleuvia, your host will ask you if you have any food allergies or anything you just don't like to eat and they try very hard to accommodate. I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I know there were some sides and salads that were probably meat free. All in all, the meals were quite satisfying and delicious.
