In a word, FABULOUS! We REALLY loved it here, even though it was really windy & rainy during our stay (the tail end of Hurricane Patricia apparently). We stayed in the KING room, with amazing views of the Tenessee river and a open fire place (lit by a remote control!). Very large bedroom, super comfortable bed, slept very VERY well... More

We stayed in one of small Cottages, the Greek Revival for a couple of days. The view is breathtaking when you are at the lodge. The rocking chairs are the only noise you hear, unless you have a light rain and the drops fall through the trees. We chose the breakfast and dinner meals both days, with breakfast served in... My husband and I just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Lodge. From the drive in, to the grounds, to the FABULOUS meals, to the room, everything was perfect. We came for our belated anniversary trip and I am so glad we did. The staff made us feel at home and were completely unpretentious. We truly felt at ease... More

Hidden gem! Stayed in Greek Revival, wonderful house with upstairs porch swing. All good except TV and fireplace did not work. You could hear up food in the kitchen, but try Meals at the lodge. We would give the restaurant a 5 star...come with an empty stomach! Best crab cake ever! A little pricey but worth it.

I have the view, the food, and the place to stay. What more do I need? The bluff has an awesome view both day and night. I recommend having dinner at the lodge. We stayed in the Blue Spring cottage. Downstairs had a full bath, living room with a pull out couch, and a mini kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, coffee... More

Our family travels to Gorham's bluff twice each year and the visits continue to get better and better. The staff is warm and gracious and the chef prepares the most delicious gourmet dinners and breakfasts. The lodge is on a bluff with beautiful views of the Tennessee River below. The only reason we do not rate the lodge 5 stars... More

Had daughter's wedding here on May 9th 2015. Dawn handled the details and the wedding was perfect. Can't say enough great things about Dawn and her staff. The staff was excellent the food was fantastic and our every need was seen about. Yes the lodge could use some paint but it had character and was very clean. Would encourage anyone... More

We Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was fabulous and well appointed. We had both dinner and breakfast while there and the food was AMAZING! The innkeepers were very courteous and attentive. The only reason I did not rate this place 5 stars is because some upkeep is needed on the exterior of the house and the grounds. We... More

If it was metal, it was rusted. If it was painted, it was chipped. If it was in the bathroom, it had mold on it. The roads that were paved were full of pot holes. There was a place for coffee, but it never appeared. The lodge rooms have no TV, no coffee, no ice, no vending machine. The entrance... More

We have spent 2 weekends at Gorham's Bluff and both have been absolutely wonderful! We rented one of the cottages with friends, but ate our meals at the lodge. Delicious! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can't beat the scenery! Highly recommend.
