The staff was great, rooms were recently renovated/very clean and atmosphere was very inviting/friendly with 24/7 front desk reception, The best part is Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in within a few minutes walking distance & Oak Mountain State Park is only a few minutes drive away ! Would definitely stay again !!!

First, it kind of has an inviting colonial look on the outside. Got there late and was exhausted. So when we got to the funky smelling room, we decided to stay. Should have realized it was going to suck based on the attitude of the desk clerk. Little did we know that they had kept my driver's license and we...

I travel a lot for recreation. I've stayed in a Lot of hotels. From the outside this place looks a little old but not terrible. But then you go in the rooms and it's all downhill. The floors Are filthy. It's a no smoking hotel but the hallways are filled. The tv is fuzzy and you have barely any picture....

First off night manager was awesome, he was very helpful and the nicest thong about the place. The place was very poor maintained. Black mold in seals around shower, shower wouldn't drain, dirt and public type hair on walls and floor. Beds were comfortable and nice. Puke like stuff on floor by outlet by bed. Hair dryer plug was broke...

Room smelled of mold when you walked in. AC was leaking water onto the carpet. Pillows the size of postage stamps, windows fogged, very small space to walk around bed. We weren't given any hand towels, so went to the front desk to get one and was given a wash cloth? Bathroom shower had cracks all around the ceiling. Breakfast?...

The outside seamed nice as did the lobby and confortable bed, but the room had a damp feel to it. There was mold on the ceiling and the shower curtain had a pocket filled with mold. The shower was yet another craft to understand..... after talking to the desk the fix was hot water is at 10 or 3 oclock....

Checked in. As we walked down the hall we started to realize this place was a dump. But we didn't know how bad until... we walked into the room. It smelled like a dingy wet basement. There was what I can only determine to be puke on the wall between the 2 beds. I immediately walked back to the front...

Cheap hotel not worth the cheap price, clogged sink, noisy air conditioner, old time tv, MOLD growing in coffee maker, dirty and smelly, worst free breakfast ever. Pay a few dollars more and stay up the road.
