We booked this B&B for two nights based on reviews and were not disappointed.. It's a small quaint place with very friendly hosts. Nice pool, relaxing lounge area, adult sauna area, and Boardwalk out to the beach. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck visiting with fellow travelers. The breakfasts were great. Something different every morning and all you... More

This was our first stay here and everything exceeded expectations. Deborah and Greg made us feel at home and the daily morning breakfast prepared by Deborah was wonderful, with French toast one morning and eggs benedict the next. The house has a great old-fashioned feel to it, with lots of cool decorations and knickknacks. Beach access requires a short walk... More

This was our 2nd stay here and it was just as great the 2nd time as it was the 1st, maybe even better. The hosts, Deborah and Greg, see to it that all of your needs are met while you're there, and they go out of their way when necessary. It was my boyfriend's birthday while we were there, and... First off, the location is just nearly perfect and out of the major congestion while being on the main corridor. Being on the beach side just makes it a no brainer. Deborah and Greg were great hosts: providing suggestions, history, and being just down right personable and friendly adding to a level of comfort like we had been family forever.... More

Staying here was our first experience at staying at a B&B. Probably shouldn't have stayed at the best first, because other B&B's will have a hard time measuring up to this one. The property is gorgeous with views of the ocean and ambiance of the historic Romar House is just amazing. Quaint little piece of heaven. The hosts, Deborah and... More

We spent two very relaxing nights at the Original Romar House. Don't expect high end sophistication but do expect good Southern hospitality. We had the Mardi Gras room which was spacious, clean & comfy. The pool was lovely to come back to after a hot morning out, and it was great to relax in the hot tub after a five... More

We absolutely loved staying here! We were looking for a relaxing place to stay and found it! The location is excellent, makes you feel like your staying at a family members house. Enjoyed our long talks with Mrs. Deborah and Mrs. Cindy about life and everything in between. Can't wait to come back and see y'all again soon! Oh, and... More

We stopped in unannounced to stay a few nights and were greeted at the door by the friendly sister if the owner. We asked to see a few of the available rooms and were led down a dark set of stairs to two rooms in the first floor. I just couldn't get passed the musty smell and loud window units.... More

Unfortunately we do not know who you are as we did not meet you, but lovely that you got to meet Greg's sister. She is being tremendously helpful since Greg has been having his cancer treatments. Such a blessing! The stairs have lighting with switches at the bottom and top? They stay on for safety. Yes, the honor bar is... More
