I didn't know there was still an option for an entire hotel to have smoking rooms. The moment you walk in, you immediately become a butt in the ashtray that is the Holiday Inn. It was wrong of me to assume there was no smoking, but for $200+/night, I should come out of here smelling like roses. I will NEVER...

Heres my story: I have stayed at the Admiral Semmes (its next door to this Holiday Inn) Hotel in Mobile the weekend of the Mobile Marathon for the last 6 years. It has alway been adequate, nothing fancy, but decent. Unfortunately the last two years it has plummeted, both in horrible service, and general filthiness. The employees have become a...

Staying anywhere downtown for Mardi Gras is always a hassle. Not here! When you walk in the lobby, you just get the feeling of how nice the hotel is. The employees go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one. The rooms are large, we stayed in a King room on the fifth floor and the view was...

We get a hotel downtown every year for Mardi Gras and out of several others, we prefer this one. The beds are comfy. The rooms are large. The place is clean. The elevators haven't broken down during our stays. The restaurant downstairs is crowded, but sufficient. Nothing too fancy food-wise, but typical hotel restaurant fare. We've never had any problems...

My buddy and I stayed here January 19th for a concert. We couldn't have been more impressed with this hotel. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We didn't want to get up when it was time to check out. The bar on the 17th floor is also a must visit. The view is incredible.

Recently stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn. Very spacious two queen beds in the room. Had the typical microwave refrigerator coffee pot. We had a really nice view of the mobile river and watched the sunrise.this hotel has a great lobby with many chairs and sofas and separate sitting areas for various groups. We were there for a Mardi...

Stayed here for 3 nights from Jan 2-5 for the GoDaddy Bowl game. We were pleasantly surprised to be placed on the 16th floor overlooking the bay. Absolutely beautiful view. The staff: The front desk staff was great. Extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Answered any and all questions quickly and accurately. The room: Ok, so there really wasn't a problem...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel during the GoDaddy Bowl. It was a popular choice for many and we weren't disappointed. While we did not eat in the hotel restaurant, we did take advantage of the close proximity to many local restaurants. Our room was clean and quiet. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning during our stay....

I don't like to give negative reviews, but I hope this will encourage the staff at the Mobile Downtown Holiday Inn (who were helpful and friendly) to clamp down on the cleaning staff. When I first arrived, I was put in a room with an overflowing toilet. No big deal, I just went back down and asked for a different...
