Hotel was cheap. There is a reason why this hotel was the only one available for Memorial Day weekend 50 miles around orange beach. It was dirty, old and many features were broken. I do not recommend staying here unless you just need a place to crash for the night.

The hotel was not easy to find with GPS, located on one-way street near government buildings. Multi-building hotel, I was on third floor, the elevator didn't work on first day... Asked desk clerk for guaranteed no-smoking room, she kind of looked at me with a glare, told me they are not smoked in. I went to room to find the...

We had NO idea that this hotel is at least partially a residence hotel. We noticed numerous people living on the premises. There was a very loud group of men hanging outside near the stairway we used to get to our room. if there had been any kind of notification that people were LIVING there, we definitely would have chosen...

Over the last few months I have stayed at The Quality Inn Downtown Historic District several times. The first was during Mardi Grass (three nights), second was for the famous Elton John concert, and last time was for a medical procedure that I had to have early in the am. I tell the specifics of my stays so that I...

Had requested a king room; was given a double. Complained, and they said they did not have a king. When I told them who I had spoken with and was assured a king, suddenly two were found. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival, and I had to clean commode myself so I could use it (poop and pee on the...

We were passing through on our spring break road trip. We almost didn't stay here because of a previous review that mentioned incidents involving pubic hair, however I would say that our stay was incredibly high quality and without a pubic hair to be found. The quality of the breakfast was good. The room quality was excellent--clean, comfortable, and quality...

First let me say the workers her were nice and tried to be accomodating but they can only do so much this hotel is in horrible need of an update. We were driving home from Orlando and decided to stop at 10pm for the night. It was raining like crazy the elevator only half way worked. The a/c in the...

My rating would have been higher, however the property appears to be going under renovation. That being said the room was comfortable and quite. There is laminate flooring installed, which makes a lot of sense as carpets are hard to keep clean especially in older properties. The one diffenciy in our room there was a large gap between the door...

We've stayed here several times in the past due to the great location to the Civic Center. This trip we were pleasantly surprised by all the upgrades that have been done here. The rooms have been repainted, old carpet has been removed and replaced with new vinyl flooring, and the bathrooms have been re-tiled. The rooms are much cleaner and...

We stayed one night on a drive through the area. The room was totally remodeled. Nothing special but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. I asked for first floor and was given a room on the first floor.
