I had a single aircon room with a bathroom shared with another single room. The other shared facilities were a fridge, hot water, tea n coffee, with fruit. Location was perfect, about 100m from Casa Del Rio. Only quibble is that the owner doesn't live there, so if you don't have global roaming, you will need to find someone with...

We really liked this place. Very central -walking distance to all the attractions - but still quite location. Clean, comfortable rooms in a reasonable price. These are the most important things that we look for when choosing the place and these are things we found in D'Laksamana. However, the true reason of 5 star ranking is the hospitality of the...

I stayed here with my daughters and their friend. We booked 2 rooms, a single one for me and a twin with an extra mattress for the teens. We shared a toilet. Everything was very clean, tidy and gave a sense of a "home away from home" feeling. Mr Kee was very helpful and accommodating. The location is fantastic because...

Stayed at this place for 3 nights and the accommodation is very nice. It is only a short walk into town for the weekend night market and other sights, food and shopping. However Mr Kee the manager is what makes this place so special. He gives you a run down on places to go, see and eat. He even took...

I book a room with 1 extra bed. Toilet is shared with another room and the room is quite clean. The best thing about this homestay is the location. It is walking distance to Melaka famous street (Jonker Walk). Besides, there are many restaurants near to this homestay. This homestay do not have receptionist at all, so if you need...

I stayed in D'Laksamana for three nights and I enjoyed it a lot. The home stay is a bit hard to find but once you are there you can enjoy the nice house, the clean room and bathroom, the cooling A/C and facilities such as Wifi, TV, free water/tee… and all this just a few minutes walk from Chinatown. But...

The room was great, comfy bed, air con and fan, and shower although shared was up...

For about $35 USD, D'Laksamana provides a clean, comfortable basic room from which you can explore Melaka. LOCATION: + About a six-minute walk to Jonker Street and ten minutes to St. Francis Xavier across the river. + This guest house is actually a retro-fitted house in a local neighborhood, and it was actually nice to get out of the touristy...

When we arrived we had to wait more than a half our before we had contact with the owner for checkin in, but further no bad words about him. Very kind and helpfull! The location is good, walking distance to the main centre and free bicycles available. But we were a little disappointed about the quality of the bed. The...
