This hotel is a very good location. The opposite lives generation and generations of the well-known Peranakan family. There is this janitor who tender the whole baba street told me that the whole stretch of the lane are own by him (not sure if it's true though), well you can solve this mystery yourself. The interior gives a feeling of...

This is a very good boutique hotel with charm that makes your stay in Melaka even better. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very adequate. The hotel is located just metres away from the the Jonker walk, and there are many bars and restaurants at your doorstep. The old part of Melaka is full of history,...

Reception and general front of house staff were more then generous with their time and local knowledge. They were able book onward transport easily and give general reassurance re travel arrangements. Front appears original facade with western style room's throught out the hotel. Breakfast more then adequate. Only let down was the lack of sound proofing. It may have been...

A very nice boutique hotel at a great location. We stayed 1 night in Quad Room located at 3rd floor. Too bad there is no elevator and we need to climb up to 3rd floor after few hours walks at nearby attractions. Room is huge and clean. Staff are super friendly & helpful. Hotel design is superb & my kids...

An excellent hotel. Rooms are pretty standard western style (boring, but perfectly pleasant), but the hotel as a whole is fascinating; huge old Dutch colonial mansion with courtyard gardens contained within the buildings. Staff are very helpful, breakfast was super, located right in the heart of the action. Would definitely return.

I originally booked two nights in this hotel, thinking that Melaka couldn't really sustain my interest for much longer than that. On arrival, however, I immediately felt so at home in both the hotel and the town that I eventually ended up staying for five nights. The interior of the hotel is charming and characterful, it is clean and beautifully...

Bedroom is clean and big enough. 1 double bed and 2 singles, kids are happy not to share their bed for once! There is a small kitchen and TV room. The staff is as per the other comments very helpful and friendly. Check-in starts at 3pm, you can stay and wait at the reception because this is very nice -old...

We stayed at hotel Puri at the beginning of our 3 week holiday in Malaysia and it was a great start. Located in the Chinese quarter of the town the hotel is in a beautiful traditional house and is really attractively decorated with traditional furniture. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. There is a beautiful garden to sit and...

This hotel is located on a road that is parallel to the famous Jonker Street market and is close to lots of interesting restaurants and watering holes. It looks small from the front but the layout of the hotel will surprise you when you walk in and explore. The rooms are small, yet functional and clean. There is complimentary in-room...
