I have no idea why it feels like they didn't change the bedsheet. It got stains and I couldn't help but feeling disgusted to see it. The desk is not clean. Seems to have stains as well. Might be from the previous visitors. Yucks. I dont know why even the osmosis drinking water in this room has a price to pay if taken. Shouldn't it be free?
I stayed for 1 night as short detour for festive season. Stayed in the premier room. What i like is the location and easy parking. Eventhough cheap, the room is complete with iron and board, mini bar, safety lock and bath tub. The down side is check in time might be 15 minutes to 1/2 hour due to only 1 staff at the counter and current covid SOP.. And most importantly, cleanliness should be improved. The carpet in our room was damp when we enter, hairs on it even with sambal stain at the fridge cabinet and carpet. Our room was smelled weird due to these. Bathroom drainage also should be improved
Just to set expectations: The picture of the room on Agoda provided by hotel while booking may not be the exact room you will be staying in. The picture was nice and wide, but our room turned out a little narrower with a different layout. The things that remained as expected were type of bedding and size. So because of that, I felt that the niceness of the room did not justify fully the price that was paid per night here. Very casual front desk, sometimes 1 person, other times 2 but they get the job done. No complaints there. For those who like their rooms untouched, we left the “Dont clean room” sign on, but they cleaned our room anyway. We didn’t mind that. Hotel generally old but not shabby. 3 stars because of the cleanliness - no bed bugs. That’s a big one for us. The sheets feel clean and no particular smell to our bedroom. Bravo to Hallmark! Generally had a good stay with this hotel. We will come back if we get to book for a cheaper price for sure! …
Every room has a different size and rooms in the middle of the floors have no windows. The 2 rooms assigned to us were dusty and cleanliness was a big issue as some of us suffered from allergic reactions/rashes upon check out. The in room mini bar/refrigerator seemed warmer than room temperature so it was practically useless. Some of the bath towels had holes in them and the bathroom design for the shower area is quite bad, as there's no ledge/raised flooring to prevent water flow, water from the shower can flow towards the walkway beside the sink area. No bottled water was provided on the 2nd day of the stay and we had to request from the receptionist. Will not recommend this hotel unless absolutely no better choices are available.
