I stayed in the twin room for 2 nights and it was a pleasant experience. For RM25 per person(assuming you're going for the twin room or 4 person dormitory), what you get is a good location(stone's throw away from Jonker's street), quiet and clean environment, friendly hosts, free coffee/tea and water, free cakes/cookies baked by the inn-keeper herself, a welcome...

We honestly can't fault the Roof Top Guesthouse. Although we arrived early, Mani and Raymond gave a us a very warm and extremely informative welcome, as well as a very refreshing drink. They guesthouse has an extremely relaxing and laid back atmosphere, and is spotlessly clean. The location could not have been better. Our room was large with ample storage...

Enjoyed my stay here. Location is nice, very close to the Chinese area and close to Dutch Square to. When checking in you get a welcome drink and a map with a very detailed and good verbal explanation of the area. Dorm room very big with seperate beds and a good aircon. Shower/toilets clean, good water pressure and hot too....

This is simply the best way to get the most out of your stay. The welcome drink and briefing on what there is to do and where to eat is second to none. All of the recommendations were absolutely first class and Raymond was a wealth of information on anything else you could want to know. The rooms were spotless...

Without doubt the most friendly and helpful host during our holiday, we were made to feel very welcome and the little extra's such a tea and coffee making facilities and cake were lovely bonuses given the price being charged. If you are backpacking you will love this place, it has a nice vibe about it. The rooms are a little...

Support past positive reviews. My darling needed a doc and Raymond recommended someone fantastic near by. Thanks. Great location with food recommendations that were spot on. Clean, added extras (kitchen, complimentary food, a place to do washing etc) great value for money. Would definetly stay here again.

This is probably the best hostel we have ever visited if you do not mind a room without windows (we don't). Quiet and very clean with very comfortable beds. There is an well equipped kitchen for those who like to do some own cooking. Mani and Raymond are very helpful, we got a map and many useful instructions but also...

Location is OK, it inside Chinatown. When I arrived, Mani gave me a map and started to tell me A LOT about this place. Those restaurant she pointed out on the map, their all VERY TASTY. I stay there for two nights. A single room with AC is only 40RM per night!!! Definitely worth it!!!

We originally booked two nights but ended up staying longer as it was very relaxing and felt very comfortable. We had the only double ensuite room with airconditioning which was perfect. There are two nice outdoor sitting areas to relax in and you can do hand washing in the tubs and hang to dry which is an added bonus. Mani...
