We arrived around 8:30 pm at this guest house. No one was around because they had an organized biking around the area. When I called them up, they were assuring us that they're on their way to the house. What is so good here is the hospitality of the hosts. As if you're just at your own house. So friendly...

Wasn't difficult to find; located close enough to Jonker street but still away from the noise; only briefly met Howard as he was away but Sam the flll in guy was really friendly and helpful; roof top area was a good place to chill in the rain; room was next to street so had a bit of noise but not...

we arrived by the night bus at 6am, but Howard (manager) was so nice to let us know in advance that we may just call him and he will let us in. We stayed two nights until Christmas Eve where we joint a wonderful party at the roof top. Really a great and cosy place to stay in a great...

We stayed for a month and what I can say is that Howard and Andrew are the most friendliest hosts I've ever met! They take you to bike rides every other night and while I didn't go for personal reasons involving bicycles and a childhood incident, my partner went to a couple tours and thoroughly enjoyed it! It's comfy and...

A nice, quiet hostel run by the most welcoming staff ever. Not only do they give you a tour of the place, they also introduce you to other guests. Often there's dinner a bike tours as well, a great way to get to know the city and other travelers. It's almost like visiting someone's home, instead of just another room...

We stayed at ringos for two nights and only wish we could have booked for longer. Each night (weeknights) they take the guests out on bike tours of the city and then off to dinner. It was such a good concept and a good way for everyone staying in the hostel to get to know each other. Howard had plenty...

Great place for backpackers to rest. It's quiet and sociable. Howard and Andrew are fantastic hosts who make sure all solo travellers meet everyone in the hostel and they organize complimentary bike tours to restaurants and markets. The rooftop is a great place to sit and chat. I would definitely stay here again.

First time in Melacca and had a wonderful stay. All the positive comments on Howard got me to his place. This ever-smiling guy owns the place and makes a wonderful host..you'll surely make yourself at home. A small, cool place with basic amenities and centrally located..just few minutes walk to the famous Jonker St. and the main road to catch...

Strategic location - walk about 100 metres and you'll reach the famous Jonker Street. I stayed for 2 nights in a 4-bed female dorm non air-conditioned and it was good. Bathrooms/Toilets are clean with no wee smell. However there's only one bathroom comes with water heater. In total they have 4 bathrooms. All-in-one shower and shampoo dispenser is attached in...

This hostel was very nice. We arrived late one evening tired and sweating buckets! Howard, the hostel owner welcomed us by passing a bike to us and telling us to go on an adventure with him. Although tired, we followed him on the bikes and he took us to an Indian restaurant, the food was scrumptious. We soon made friends...
