We stayed 5 nights in a double room. The location is great and it is cheap - 2 good points of this hotel. The room was run down as was the whole hotel. It is in need of a reno. Paint peeling, bathroom door damaged and there were leaks in the bathroom from the hose near the toilet. The toilet/shower were all in one in our room so the water from the shower went over everything. The shower was hot though so that was good. The AC was cold which was also nice. The room was quite cramped and unfortunately it doesn't match the pictures on the internet. First 2 days there was no real breakfast supplied as I think there were very few guests so they didn't bother apart from asking if we would like eggs. I had fried eggs both mornings but they were cold when served. The last 3 days they had a proper breakfast as there were more guests. It consists of toast/watermelon, rice, baked beans one morning, noodles. Have to get there when breakfast starts as I got the impression they don't refill the trays once it is gone. It is close to a mosque as well so you get your early morning wake up call - not ideal if you are a light sleeper. Grab is only 8RM to Melaka Sentral - better than a taxi which is 30RM Overall it is cheap and a great location so if you don't mind a less than flash accommodation option then it will do the job but I would not stay there again.

If the city wasn't busy for Chinese New year we would have walked out. Cramped room, nothing like the photos, extra charge for a child's bath towel? Grubby especially the carpets, unhelpful staff except the cleaners. Breakfast dire for westerners. Owners need some business training, desk staff some customer care training.

5 mins walk to Jonker Street Market. About 10 mins drive from Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal which only costed me a Grab fare of RM8. Breakfast is very simple but reasonable for the price you pay. Clean and spacious.

Booked 4 rooms but one of our friends last minute couldnt make the trip. Upon check-in, informed that we only needed 3 rooms but not requesting for refund. However, management insisted we need to pay travelers tax for the empty room, even though its not being checked in. Hotel interior is very rundown. My room's toilet was choked. One of our rooms electricity keep tripping and we had to request to change the room. The aircon compressor lacked of servicing and it blasted loud noise all night long that we couldnt really get into sleep. Location wise is tip top. Just a short 5mins away from the night market Jonker Street. With that price paid, I couldnt really complained though.

Rooms are small. I booked a triple room. There was hardly any space to move about. Breakfast was below average. Carpet of the room needs to be be cleaner. The worst incident was my bathroom door getting locked. Had to call the hotel reception to unlock it. I was so scared I didn't close the door after that..

This hotel is a preserved old building in Melaka. Entering the lobby already given you the hint. It is located at a walking distance from the famous Jonker Street that is going to ease you if you stay on the weekend when Jonker Night Market is running. Please do not expect rooms with view, since they have none. However, their facilities for being budget hotels is exceptional. The room is installed with a hair dryer, an iron & iron board, a safe box, an electric water kettle along with water thermos, a refrigerator (serve as minibar), a drawer with hangers, plus 2 more pillows (floor covered by rug, and it is clean, anyway). Furthermore, after aching your legs by visiting every corners of historical town, you can pamper yourself with hot water. During my stay, things were settled properly. Nothing went wrong. Thank you for providing your guests with free-flow water, it really helped us a lot. Perfect! Thank you!

worst service of the hotel. Staff rude. The room cockroach. Door not even function. Everytime want to enter the room need to call receptionist. Staff very rude to open the door. Told will fix thedoor, till checkout still havent fix. Cleanliness of the hotel is worst. not even clean the dustbin in a room or in lobby. Parking reserve not for customer but for bus. Will not comeback here again.

Was looking for a budget hotel for just a night rest and Melaka and came across Hallmark Hotel Leisure which is just a short distance from the famed Jonker Walk. Check in is easy and fast with a deposit of RM10 per room per night. I got my room from Traveloka (after promo) for under USD15 for a twin room which I thought was a pretty good deal. Room is basic but does come with a LED TV, minibar, hair dryer, washer bidet in bathroom (which was really nice). Toiletries were complete and shower although all within the bathroom comes with a nice handheld as well as a rain shower. Bed is OK ~ not the best but OK but what is nice the room comes with extra pillows. Parking is convenient and there are a couple of restaurants nearby for dinner. 7-Eleven is within walking distance (5 min walk). Overall I would say this is a good place if you are looking for a cheap accommodation to sleep in Melaka

This hotel is in a very good location and very close to all the sites. However the room was very rundown and old. The staff were pretty rude and the air con didn’t work. It was so bad one night myself and my boyfriend were sweating like mad. Wouldn’t stay here again it’s very average.
