This is my second time here and I will definitely stay again. For the price it's great value - clean but basic with all you need, The staff are helpful and as I find in most places they treat you as you treat them Anjuna itself is a chilled location but close to all the night life beach shacks such...

Our first impression of the hotel was quit good. The rooms and location are ok but the problem is the staff of the hotel. They are terrible and so unbelievable unfriendly. We made a reservation for 2 days but after the first day we want to stay longer. I went to the reception and ask for availability. This was not...

we searched for this place on the net, when we typed 'cheap hotels in goa.' didn't expect much; just a place near the beach; and hopefully a clean washroom. on reaching however, we were agog with things we found; a clean, spacious room, decent washrooms, a swimming pool (on the side of which, the waiter would place chilled beers while...

I along with 4 of my friends planned a trip to Goa in February this year and we stumbled upon don joao resort with the help of tripadvisor.in. If you are a friends group who is planning to visit anjuna and places around this and you are looking for a reasonable budget hotel, this place is good. It has a...

We love this little apartment hotel - our second visit. It's simple, easy and as clean as you could expect in Anjuna. Our rooms were serviced daily with fresh bed linen, bath towels and a good old wash down of the tiled floors. Ceilings fans rattled away to keep the room coolish in April and we could watch India Premier...

We stayed at the DonJoao for three weeks in Jan 2012 - my first holiday in Goa! Our apartment (bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and balcony) wassimply furnished, really comfortable beds, hot water when we wanted and a fridge to keep drinks etc. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, the gardens beautifully kept with a spotlessly clean pool. We thoroughly enjoyed...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 weeks last March. We had such a nice time. We had a small apartment on the first floor, with a balcony and a little kitchen. The room was spotlessly clean, and was serviced everyday when we went to the beach. The manager and all the staff were very nice, friendly and ever...

Stayed there with my wife late November 2011. We had a pleasant "mini apartment" with a double bedroom, bathroom & sitting room with a balcony (I think that all rooms have them). It is certainly further than 500 metres from the beach though, but it is a pleasant enough walk. Barking dogs round the back were something of an annoyance...

Recommended to the couple we were travelling with as they have stayed here before. On arrival at 1am we woke the staff in reception as they were sleeping (this is normal) and the hotel also has a security guard at night. We were allocated temp rooms in the large block, these were large a bedroom leading to a wetroom bathroom,...

After reading good reviews on this hotel my partner and i decided to stay there for our 2 week holiday, this being our third stay in Goa. From the beginning it wasn't good, room was shabby , no curtains, had to pin a sarong in the window, electric wires sticking out from where appliances should have been, our balcony over...

First of all let me clarify this is not a direct guest of Hotel but agency guest on the cheapest package possible. This operator Pays DJR five pounds per person including bed and breakfast, taxes, service charges etc complete and is allotted economic studio room. How was the room shabby? Be specific. The room is painted afresh every new season...
