We enjoyed our stay. The room was great and the staff were friendly! The breakfast was more than was offered at our other stays. I would definitely stay here again! It was centrally located for all of the things we had planned.
We used our app so we had little interplay with staff BUT someone left us a gift basket there (they left it on our room for us) that included a bottle of wine and the staff was thoughtful enough to provide us with a couple of wine glasses. I thought that was very nice. In addition, the room was clean and the location was perfect for what we needed.
The Hampton staff was polite, breakfast was good and items were all stocked but could use non pork meat option. Room was cleaned well and bed was comfortable The location was good but I would have liked a little guide to restaurants nearby.
They were having construction done to the front of the hotel, starts around 8 am, early for a weekend. The connecting door in our room kept creaking open so we took a look and this is what we found. Also shower rod was about to fall down because the screws were falling out of it, door had to be slammed shut due to constantly getting stuck, bed was too soft, etc. would not recommend. They also kept the hotel at around 75 degrees which it too hot when it’s 60 outside.
I only chose this location as the other Hampton properties in the city were either sold out or overpriced at well over $200. It’s an older property, part of the staff I had interaction were friendly. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. Shower wasn’t properly cleaned and their was what appeared to be dried bloodstains on the baseboard by the bed.
