I was travelling on my own and had the good fortune to and pleasure to stay for 11 nights at the Bodhi Tree. It was a perfect place to stay as it was quiet in a lovely area with the sounds of music, birds, and the scent of incense at night. The staff Sukanya Suresh, Babhu were really attentive and...

The hostel resembles to a gallery with lots of paintings and religious statues. The room I chose was large and tidy. Not so easy to find without GPS. Yet, staff doesn't speak English and the price is at the upper range for Kolkata. Overall I can recommend this place.

We had been recommended the Bodhi Tree by some friends. We had a little trouble at first finding the place but once we did we realised how convenient it was to the Metro. The staff were always most pleasant and helpful although at times we had trouble because of lack of language. Our room was comfortable. The included breakfasts were...

We had a great stay at the Bodhi Tree ! Our gracious host went out of her way to help us in any way possible including offering us her car and driver for a couple of hours on our last morning in Calcutta and allowing us to shower up in an available room prior to our departure to Canada ....

The atmosphere and vision of the place portrayed in the website appealed to us (myself and sister), and we immediately feel in the love with the idea of a garden and outdoor area amongst the chaos and madness of the city; so thought...

A very compact B&B in a quiet street, adjacent to the Swiss park SBI, and 2 min walk from the Rabindra sarovar Metro Station. Aesthetic and appealing to the art loving. The breakfast included in the Tariff is quite adequate. The caretaker boys present through out the day barely speak any english and that is quite a hiccup. Stayed a...

I stayed at the Bodhi Tree December 1-3. It was comfortable and had convenient access to to Metro, but I found staff who spoke English absent in the evening if I had any concerns or question. I did not find it a good value for the level of service offered.

The rooms are individually decorated and ours was a peaceful abode. We found the hotel hard to find at first, not helped by the similarities in metro station names, but after the initial search realised what a treat we had come across. Artful design and a pleasant garden. Everything was very spacious and comfortable, the showers were piping hot, and...
