The staff are the heartbeat of this place!!!
I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Summit while traveling with an infant and a child. The food was not only great but also exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make my family's stay comfortable. They even catered to out-of-menu items to accommodate the kids. Despite the modern amenities like WiFi, the hotel building exudes old-world charm, adding a unique touch to the stay. If you're lucky, you might get a clear and spectacular view of the Kunchunjungah mountain, making the stay even more memorable. The management was incredibly prompt, and the staff always seemed happy to be of service. The location is superb, right opposite St. Paul's school. I would highly recommend Hotel Summit for a delightful and memorable family stay!

Provides a very nice view of the city and Kanchenjunga is visible if the weather is clear. The hotel is clean and the staff is very polite and helpful.
The rooms are super amazing with a fireplace and the beds are electrically heated to give you a cozy feeling.
The best part is the lounge where you can spend your whole day just enjoying the Kanchenjunga.
Only the problem is the food I wouldn't say it's bad but the waiting time is too long they can work on it.

location is great provided you have to walk around 20 minutes to reach the mall road. While coming I recommend booking a cab it will cost you 200.

The experiece was good. The staffs were very polite and helpful. I would like to mention the help extended by Mr. Dupden Lepcha, at the front office and Ms. Karuna in the food and beverages section. Mr. Dupden did the web checkin for me and provided me the concerned printout of boarding pass and baggage tags. Me and my wife stayed in room 101, though the room was a bit small, still it has great mountain view and we got a fabulous view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from the room itself. One inconvenience was that the balcony has to be negotiated through the bathroom. Another fantastic facility was the bed heating system. After a gruelling day of tiget hill visit and Mix point sight seeing the bed heating and the room heater provided us the much needed comfort in the cold weather. Overall a very good experience at a reasonable price.

At very first,Hotel sales person misguide me about rooms. They provide a small smelly dirty backside room with no view in the name of luxury room and then we have to pay extra charges for room upgradation after check in hotel. Time of booking they said (even mentioned on website) free car parking. But in real, there are no space for car in hotel. We have to keep our car key on reception. They parked our car another place, which was not the hotel property, 10min walking distance, and you have to walk on high slope!
We booked for 3 nights, but during this time period, no one asked if we need any room cleaning or something! On 3rd day, we request for room cleaning on 3pm. But they denied to do this. As we went for sightseeing, they told us why we not keep our room keys on reception! So, they can't clean. We asked to change blanket because we cant tolerate that dirty blanket anymore. Then someone giving us one single blanket! We are couple with a 4 yrs old kid! How can one family manage with a singe size blanket! They told they cant afford extra blanket. So we request to provide extra blanket cover. And assured them that they have to do nothing. We'll change the blanket cover! Then they provide that one!
Now its time to review about food! Cant say that food was disgusting, but it was tasteless!!! . Menu was very limited! In meat, only chiken, for fish only bacha ( not basa) and for veg, aloo gobi/ aloo jeera! Never expected such bad tea on Darjeeling! Even roadside chawala makes much better tea! But after all these, rate chart is hifi! Their website, 15percent discount on food bill was clearly mentioned on the time of booking. But on check out time we surprised! They make bill with no discount! After argument, they gave that discount! They close their resturant on 9:30pm. So if you want to have your dinner on or after 9:30, you have to take it in your room! Not even that only, after 9:30pm, you will get nothing from hotel. Not even a glass of drinking water! After 9:30, if you call on intercom, if you go to reception, nothing can help you to get a glass of drinking water!
Never expected such dirty bed and pillows !
Lastly insufficient water in toilets! First day, sufficient water was there in washroom. But from 2nd day, water problem start! We booked 2 suite room, and same condition in both room! Some one came 2/3times to fixed but nothing happened! Lastly, rooms are not safe if you visit with kids. Many ups and down in room and not proper light . Even not a single night lamp!
Totally disgusting experience!

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night. I booked for deluxe room, when I reached hotel they told me that I got a free upgrade to Suite Room as the deluxe rooms are all filled. The room was big, however being in a hill station it was laking basic things like a good room heater. The socalled room heater provided by hotel was not adequate for the whole room. There was not enough plug points in the room for plugging electric blanket or phone charger. It was an unpleasant stay in a cold night. The food was OK . The only thing I like in the hotel is the view of Kanchenjunga from the terrace ( The 2 starts are for that only). However, the same kind of view you can get from neighouring hotels also. I would not recommend this place during cold days.

I had heard a lot about this hotel, so i told my tour opretar to add this at Darjeling but there was some miscommunication by my tour operator Niraj Lama (trip2hills) and i got some other room which i had not booked, so if you hear the name trip2hills don’t book your trips with them. I was calling them but they where not picking up my calls and then i spoke to the hotel person (Dupden Lepcha) that i m not happy with the room, if you don’t have any other room then pls transfer me to your other properties if you can. He considered this on priority basis and came up to me to show the other room which was canceled and he gave me that room for one day and the other day he upgraded to suit room. That was cheery on the cake. I was stuck the middle way but Dupden helped us in the name of Summit Grace Hotel & Spa, and gave us the best service and hospitality

Thank you so much for ending my trip on a good note! And you people also make an amazing food. Cheers

It was pleasant stay in summit grace. Though the weather during January is extremely cold but the hotel staff made sure to give a warm stay and sleep inside our rooms. Very friendly staffs and the services are very fast. The food quality is also superb. Niyati at reception guided us about the sites need to be cover. The rooms are very cleaned and the staff are very active and gave room cleaning services at night too. Even you can enjoy the site views from the personal balcony too. Overally it was a wonderful experience in Darjeeling.

I visited Darjeeling from 26th to 29th of December with my family. For me it was not a first trip but for my family it was. We stayed at Summit Grace. We booked a suite room which was just on top of the hill. Mount Kanchenjunga was clearly visible from the common balcony. The rooms are well maintained. Food is delicious. Staffs of the hotel are very courteous. Would like to especially mention the name of their manager Mr. Kinchok who has a very helping attitude and Ms.Karuna who provides services to the guests in their restaurant. Her sweet smile and excellent hospitality should not be missed.
The mountain and valley view from the hotel is mesmerising. But if you want to go to the Mall Road then you have to either take a cab or you should be ready for a walk down the hills for around 20 minutes.
I also booked the car for my entire stay through the hotel's Hill Peak tour agency. They provided timely services with a neat and clean car. The driver whose name was Kaushal was very courteous and good.
Overall I was very happy and satisfied with things.

I stayed in a suite (No: 206) which was a duplex room, an experience in itself. But the furniture need to be upgraded immediately. The floor boards creak all the time, the table wobbles and there is a bad smell in the washroom. Most of the electric sockets seemed to be old and broken.

Reception service, room service, restaurant service were excellent. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. View from balcony and terrace were fantastic. Room heater was provided free of cost. W-Fi was there but not very good service.

Request the authorities to please focus on the room itself and replace the old furniture immediately.
