Myself and 4 friends travelled to Darjeeling for the second part of our spring break this spring. Mr. And Mrs. Gupta were phenomenally helpful in accommodating our changing travel needs. You get what you pay for, solid food, and good company.

Highly recommend hotel aliment. I didn't really know what to expect for I booked it through a package. Very impressed by the hotel, amazing breakfast served in a very cosy little restaraunt. Good lunch and dinner also. The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly making you feel very comfortable in their place. The room was basic, bed comfortable and... More

I found its a cheap hotel (600rp for a double room). The main drawback was the service (a bit rude) and the fact the entire hotel was cold as hell (it was end of January). Good point is the restaurant: good food, a bit expensive though.

Ailment hotel was the worst. Reasons are... 1 there is no proper staff to pick my luggage at the time of checkin/checkout. 2 geyzer works only at specified time in morning till 8:30 am 3 there is no room service. 4 there is no phone extension so that we can talk to reception. Every time you need to go downstairs.... More

This hotel is not for Indians. The hotel staff and management are very rude. I had asked to change my room as it was in pretty bad shape but they just said the room is very good and we have no other rooms available. Worst of all, water heater is available only in the morning. Room heater is additional cost.... More

A very limited fun hotel. Much better than its profile pic here. Very good rooftop. Courteous owner. Far from main area (1.5 KM = 20 min of difficult walking) so not desirable for those without vehicles. Nice Tibetan bread.

Poor approach road to the hotel, difficult to find, very difficult to park vehicle (even temporarily), no room service, no wifi in rooms, no intercoms, hot water available for limited time, no furniture in room other than bed. Only worth a tariff of Rs 300, Totally avoidable.

Had booked a 3 night stay here, email communication was very brief - no directions to the hotel were provided (given that it's about a 20 minute walk from the town this would be helpful!), when I called the hotel to ask for directions as I was well and truly lost they hung up on me twice. I ended up... More

We stayed in Aliment for 3 nights and our stay was lovely. Manager and all staff are very friendly and helpful. On our first day manager suggested to us to go to Tiger hill because the weather was expected to be good and we went and it was beautiful sunrise! Thank you for this little tip. All next days weren't... More
