The food quality is not so great. Desperately needs a makeover. The biggest advantage is that the Hotel is just near to Airport, Bus stop, Railway station and accessibility is high. Overall the price for what this place offers is WAY too high.

Went to have lunch, no valet parking, there was a guard least bothered to welcome. No parking space. Then when informing the reception about the problems one arrogant guy standing at the counter who cannot understand English asks me to stop talking in English since he can't understand and starts shouting. When you can't speak the local language is it...

The Hotel Grand Palace was passable for a one night layover, but the place looks old and tired and in desperate need of a makeover. Not very good in terms of value for money. I will be staying elsewhere next time.

I had gone to Chennai for a business trip and had an early morning flight so wanted a hotel close to the airport. I booked the Hotel Grand Palace on the net via one of the booking websites. The booking was seamless and the pictures of the hotel (coupled with the price) gave me an impression that it would be...

Hotel is available at Chromepet which is now becoming the place for shoppers in the outskirt of city. Its near to Airport and Railway station and accessibilty is high. The rooms are good for the budget but obviously we cant expect it as 5 star range hotels. Can rate it as 3 star having all amenities. Very pleasant stay I...

The only advantage of this hotel - it's close to the airport. I would NOT recommend it otherwise. It's a relatively old facility and not very well maintained. Cleanliness is doubtful. I also have mixed feelings about the hotel's staff. Room service and restaurant staff were friendly. The reception administrators were however not very cooperative. Overall the price for what...

I could be slightly biased in reviewing this property as the treatment I received on attempting to check in was horrendous! Though it was mainly Cleartrip to blame, the front office lost a chance to earn brownies for a blunder committed by their agents , Cleartrip. However, the reception of Hotel Grand Palace behaved like a Government Organization and lost...
