Staying at this place was absolutely perfect for us. We really enjoyed the vibe. Some good fellow travellers were around and the staff is real friendly. The rooftop is perfect to hang out at and have some beers while playing cards. The rooms as the bathrooms are clean - we stayed in the private one as the dorm. Yeah, very...

Basic and clean dorms, super friendly staff and nice location. Chennai was our first stop in India and overall Elements made it for a great start! The delicious breakfast is not included, but 30 rupees/day is a total bargain :-) There are some options of local restaurants and street food within walking distance. Common area was good for meeting other...

I arrived after a 22h traintrip and was necked. After fighting my way with the rickshaw driver, i arrived in Elements Hostel. The welcoming was friendly and very helpfull. They offered me a chai, probably because i was in a bad shape and naturally we started chatting. I stayed in the dormitory and was happy with the AC. The beds...

Cannot speak more highly of the staff here. Me and a friend arrived after midnight from Australia, despite being due to arrive earlier. The staff were there to welcome us and quickly made up beds and looked after anything we needed. The next day they went out of their way to help us book train tickets to our next stop....

We arrived in Chennai on the day that the Indian government withdrew 80% of their currency! This made life quite interesting but the guys in Elements went out of their way to get us some rupees, even though they didn't have much themselves. The hostel is clean, with aircon and really calm in the mayhem that is Chennai. Thank you...

Our time at Elements Hostel was great. We were upgraded to a larger room at no charge for a night, with a lovely balcony with two chairs. There was the option of AC or fans (or both, which we used!), so we were never too hot. Another thing we enjoyed was the option of eating dinner on the rooftop patio...

The people from this hostel are very friendly and helpful. A warm welcome when I arrived with a chai and chapati after a long travel journey. This place is clean and in a more quit area. I am thankful to start my journey here.

Within the smelly din of chennai elements hostel stands out. It's clean and cheerful with excellent staff who are more than willing to help you out whatever your problems. G.Magesh is a most accommodating assistan manager and made us feel very welcome.
