The hotel is tucked away in a dark alley, not good for us since we arrived late at night. It is pretty close to Egmore station which was convenient. The staff was not terribly friendly. The room had bugs and could use a cleaning. Lighting was dim. No wifi. Bathroom was pretty bad. It was cheap and we were only...

Had a bad experience staying at this hotel, there was nobody to help to carry our luggage to our rooms, rooms were not upto the mark, linens were dirty. No proper room service. Front office was not polite. Although the management tried his best but was not contactable after lights went off in a room then was provided another room.

We stayed in Chennai for 2 days which was more than enough and chose this hotel as our base. The hotel seems to be average quality by Indian standards but as it is in Chennai, it was extremely noisy. We got 2 very poor nights sleep as there were noisy guests, traffic and a random siren that went off throughout...

If getting a triple room, be aware that the third bed is just a thin mattress on the floor. While that didn't bother us too much, I think the price...

I only went to stay at hotel melody for 1 night but received really great service. My TV didn't work in my room which wasn't a real problem but the staff sorted it out in a flash. I also got talking to raheem (the MD) and he was doing everything to help me. I wanted to go to Bangalore and...
