Initially we were given what seemed to be a room, through the back entrance of the property, that was hurriedly vacated.. no rugs on the very cold marble floor, bathroom was dirty and the stairs needed a good clean and paint. We were then given a suite, which was what we had booked, that was clean and nicely furnished. Heating...

I stayed during the Jaipur Literature Festival for over a week. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, 'deluxe', which was comfortable. I was looked after by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. On India Republic Day, we had a lot of fun over breakfast while the staff dressed in traditional clothes and India colours. I ate...

This wonderful, ramshackle palace is something from a forgotten era. The entrance, sitting room and grounds are impressive. Service from the owner was just perfect. We only have a couple of suggestions: Curtains should cover the whole of the windows, there could be more hot water and WiFi should extend into the rooms, not just the lounge. Also the food...

I was visiting India for the first time, coming from Canada, I had no idea what to expect. I booked this hotel online because I wanted to experience a real Heritage Hotel. What I received was beyond my expectations. It was lovely, palace style, well maintained property that has a very historical, homey charm. The room was very "palace like",...
