This place is just beautiful. Nestled in Gangapole in Old Jaipur, this place offers so much: beautiful, large, historic rooms that are every bit as nice as the luxury hotel Samode Haveli down the road (where I have also stayed), absolutely delicious food, and a reception by the owner and staff that is of a warmth and attentiveness beyond compare....

An Indian Haveli is an old fashioned residence on more than one level around a coutyard, which houses many families. The modern hotel type haveli is made up of extremely spacious individual units consisting of bedroom ( very handy if you have children, relatives or friens staying all together!) and equally spacious full bathroom. All white mable floors, ancient stencil...

While staying at the Samode, a pretty expensive restaurant, we found this one by accident. This is a hotel but they will serve a fixed menu dinner if you tell them at least an hour before. We also got a tour of the rooms and they are way nicer than the Samode (no pool, though). So if you are on...

My family (with 2 kids) stayed at Saba Haveli for 4 nights in December 2015. One of my friends who had stayed here earlier had booked a room for us. When we reached the haveli, (we had to go through some by-lanes of Jaipur), the haveli seemed to be worn out from outside. We felt that we had probably made...

This is a traditional Haveli - small and full of atmosphere - with extremely friendly staff, VERY large rooms including a bath which easily fitted us both and two wash basins in the large bathroom. The owner was on site and helpfully arranged a massage for me and some laundry. The food (no menu - you are just given!) was...

Had booked Saba Haveli for 2 nights. While I stayed for one night only, my companions stayed for 2 nights. The haveli is almost 200 years old and is located in the middle of old Jaipur. Only one half of the haveli is operational as a hotel. Around 11 rooms. It's an awkward experience for the first 10 minutes in...

We landed in Jaipur without any reservation... Parked by the roadside, Saba Haveli came up in search. The pictures looked good and so did some of the reviews so we went ahead and booked it for a night. The drive to the place made us wonder if we had made the right decision. The lanes kept getting narrower and at...

It doesn’t look like much from the front (and my driver told me in 30 years he had never dropped anyone off at this hotel), but Saba Haveli is an exciting place to stay if you’re looking for some real India style with a few Western comforts. Oddly, my group was the only party staying at Saba Haveli when we...

From the rather shabby exterior, one might think one had come to the wrong address but step inside the huge wooden doors and enter the interior courtyards, and you discover a gem of a traditional haveli. The owner, Mr Rai, is justifiably proud of this building which has been in his family for 200 years. Only a few rooms have...

Saba Haveli hotel is an absolute pearl of a hotel with huge rooms beautifully decorated and with modern bathrooms. The exterior of the hotel is deceptively shabby, but once you enter the second internal courtyard, the improvements and care and attention paid to the decorations begin to be apparent. All the rooms are up the small corner staircase and overlook...
