This place was charming. Not for those wanting 5 star but in my opinion much nicer. Run by the beautiful and helpful Deepali and her mother-in-law. Comfy rooms with very comfortable beds, very clean and tastefully decorated. Reasonably priced near the city and with good recommendations for driver, eating out and where to shop. We ate in one evening and...

Having travelled to more than 40 countries in all continents except Antartica, I can say this is one of the most extraordinary, interesting and satisfying hotels I have ever stayed in. I recommend it very strongly to anyone going to Jaipur. I picked it on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews because we were trying to find a smallish hotel with...

I have to say it is quaint, comfortable and they really look after you as a host does their guest in their home. Location is great as it is around 5 to 10 minutes drive to the main city. It is near a busy junction but with reviewers who have commented about noise, you will find this everywhere in india....

The hotel I was booked to stay in did not recognise my reservation and I was left scrambling last minute, luckily (VERY luckily) I was able to stay at Barwara Kothi. I was a blessing in disguise for sure. The most important aspect of any room to me is cleanliness and this place was spotless, from the bathrooms to the...

I was extremely lucky to find a room here at the last minute during the time the Jaipur Literary Festival. I was travelling on work, and wanted a safe place to stay alone as a solo female traveller. And Barara Kothi is like home away from home! The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms are spick and span with all the...

This is a unique experience of staying in a homely setting with the ambience reminding you of the lifestyle of the royal families. The place is very clean be it the rooms, the toilet, the dining hall or the garden. The staff is ever smiling and helpful and Ms Deepali Singh takes a personal interest in ensuring that her guests...

We had a very enjoyable stay at Barwara Kothi. The rooms were very clean and all our needs were quickly attended to. The breakfasts were very good too. In all, it was as lovely as we had been told it was, and we were very happy there. Deepali does a fine job of managing this interesting home stay. I would...

Barwara makes you feel like a member of a royal family. Extremely clean and homely... I judge clean by how white the towels are! Full marks on cleanliness and comfort. The staff was very sweet and helpful. I would definitely consider Barwara again.

Stayed here for one night based on a personal recommendation. The location is pretty convenient, however, we stayed during wedding season and there were weddings taking place opposite and next to us. The noise was a bit loud but not unbearable. The bungalow is kept immaculate and i couldn't find anything to complain about from a cleanliness/hygiene perspective. There are...

Recommended by a business colleague who absolutely refused to stay in the Jai Mahal Hotel nearby, we could see what she meant! It's a lovely peaceful property with a very special feel. We stayed in the room which you reach through the garden and where we could sit on our terrace enjoying a Kingfisher beer. The food was delicious, we...

Ours is a heritage homestay located close to the city centre. It is a colonial mansion built in the 1940s with green lawns surrounding the building. It is ideal for guests who are looking for a place with clean, beautiful rooms(some have attached balconies to lounge and read) and home cooked food. The rooms have marble flooring and a few have large french windows to usher in the sunlight and a view of the lawns. ... more   less
