Stayed here in October this year. Mrs Singh, is delightful, helpful, wise and kind. There is nothing she or her staff cannot do for you. The food is full of flavour and there is often tea and cake available. The rooms are kept very clean and there is plenty of hot water. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for six nights in November. We were supposed to be doing all the sights in Jaipur, but unfortunately I got sick (not from this hotel !!) The staff and owner were awesome, going to the drug store for me, giving me local remedies to help my stomach, and looking after us in general. The restaurant staff, when I was eating, were exceptionally helpful, asked us what kind of indian food we liked most, then made us paratha and dosa for breakfast. Yum ! Also, when you step into the hotel form the hustle and bustle of Jaipurs streets, its like stepping into an oasis of calm, lovely gardens and pool and the occasional monkey trundelling along the roof. You can still hear some noise from outside, but in comparisson, its very quiet. I would highly recommend staying here .
From arrival, nothing was too much trouble, this wonderful hotel that has been lovingly designed & decorated is a real gem. Walking down the drive you reach a peaceful haven that is also not far from the busy city so accessible easily by Uber or a car service the hotel can book for you. The owner Mrs Indu Singh was always around to ensure the service was nothing but personable, professional & of the highest standard. The staff without exception were friendly, polite & couldn’t do enough for you. The bedrooms tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean & with gorgeous views over the garden & wonderful pool area. Full facilities, AC, kettle, great shower, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The food was great with little touches like homemade butter & preserves, you can eat in the dining room or outside on the beautiful garden terrace. Our stay was over Diwali, which meant a traditional welcome with bindi’s, sweets, fireworks, traditional music & puppet show. We finished the evening on the roof terrace watching the cities festivities. We arrived in Jaipur after trekking in the Himalayas, where unfortunately my friend sustained an eye infection. Special thanks indeed to Mrs Indu Singh who not only made appointments for us to see her eye consultant, also arranged transport etc. she could not of been more helpful & also always checked on us if she could do anymore to help. Thank you so much for all you did to help us - without your intervention the situation could of been a lot worse. If you are staying in Jaipur for any length of time, this hotel is a must, small enough to be friendly but with all the facilities you might need (the wi-fi was excellent too). I can not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Mr and Mrs Singh for welcoming us to your family home.
Great property-an oasis in a busy city. Very beautiful garden and all staff were very helpful. Room was nice. Loved the pool and trees. The food was very good. The dog that lives on the property is fun to watch and she is very friendly!
I stayed here as part of a group holiday and really enjoyed my time here. My room was beautiful, so clean and nicely decorated, with plenty storage, and the shower was a welcome treat after a long day in the sun. The in-room safe was handy, and they even have a kettle, air conditioning, complementary toiletries and extra bedding and blankets should you wish to use these.I liked that they had tourist leaflets out for us to peruse, as well as a library of magazines and books to borrow (many languages). The balcony area on the third floor was a nice place to relax with these, and it was also a good place to watch the traffic on the road or sit in the sun.My friends enjoyed having non Indian food for breakfast, however I liked that you could have masala omlette and chickpeas as well, even freshly cooked eggs to your liking. Sitting next to the pool in the garden was a wonderful way to start the day, especially with the fresh filter coffee which was always available. Lunches were a la carte and for dinner you could also have a buffet, depending on your preference. Everything I ate was so well prepared and delicious, they were great with us as a group as there were different dietary requirements, meat eaters could always have something (there was a chicken dish, which seemed to be different every day) and vegans were well catered for too. As a vegetarian I felt absolutely spoiled! Paneer deliciousness, skillfully prepared okra, baby aubergine stew, chole bhatura... more naan and chapatti than you could ever eat, and oh, the cakes!Nothing seemed too much trouble for Mrs Singh and her staff, and it was nice to learn that this was Mr and Mrs Singh's family home. Meera the dog was a lovely added bonus at this hotel, she was superbly friendly and clearly very well loved and pampered! Don't worry if you are not a "dog person" though, she will leave you alone if you do not want to stroke her, but if you do want to say hello she will be your friend for the duration of your stay ;)
