we visited this resort as part of a golden triangle tour. The site itself was good but the apartments were extremely dirty . we had to put our bath mat into the shower just to clean it. The staff were good but I would not recommend this place.

Arrival at the village was an insight into the stay since the coach is not able to get to the village so we travelled on some type of wagon, accommodation was as expected basic but it was clean, hot water was between six and eight am and pm, but this was not a problem, air conditioning was good in our...

This is a very different experience where you see how these local village people live and despite feeling like intruders to start with we enjoyed the stop over. The people have a lovely community and the happiness of the children has to be seen to be believed. We were entertained with music and dancing and a bar was set up,...

Individual lodges spaced out around a square garden. Although the setting is superb the buildings are in need of maintenance work. The food was either cold or lukewarm which was a serious concern as we did not know how long the food had been at room temperature. The entertainment was superb and we were taken to a village home for...

Great location for peace and quite in the middle of a hectic tour. Limited food choice but the owner and staff could not be more helpful in explaining dish contents. Separate lodges giving village feel and quaint travel modes from main road to resort through rural landscape and local village.

The village retreat is in a beautiful setting. There's a great Rajasthani welcome, with flowers, cold drinks, etc. The food was good, the bungalows are attractive. The shortcomings are the tired, very well used bathroom facilities and a lack of space for clothes storage. The latter wasn't too important as we were there only one night so we managed. Now...

One of our locations to stay on our recent guided tour of part of India was the little complex called Geejgarh village retreat in Rajasthan. The owner has run the complex for around ten years now and includes quaint modes of travel around the village as the roads are narrow and bumpy. The little lodges are ideal for a night's...

Reasonable lodges accessed via a village which was great. Food choices very limited but still a great experience. Would benefit from sun loungers and a pool as nothing, except bird watching, to do in the resort. X

A beautiful setting, quaint little lodges and warm staff. The was limited choice with the food, but everything was delicious so it didn't matter. We had a great music and dance display one evening by local performers. A dark and chilly bathroom, but otherwise a magical place to stay!

This is real little gem. The cabins are basic but very adequate for a one night stay. The owner and his staff could not do enough for their guests. The food was some of the best I have had in India. Organic homegrown vegetables from his farm. This food was better than the 4and5 stars we have stayed at. The...
