Food was unbelievably terrible. Very few options available and tasteless recipe. Rooms and toilet were very nicely cleaned and maintained. Room service is decent and quick. Bar is open till late night. Checking in and out was quick and smooth.
Fabulous Art Deco style heritage hotel, which was formerly a royal palace. We were treated like and felt like royalty during our stay., particularly as we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. The staff and service were exemplary as was the food. The grounds including the pool were a delight. Our Raas Hopper package included a private tour of the City Palace via the Royal entrance and a superb massage.
Rooms were clean and spacious Food was above average Located in perfect place Once you get into the hotel the front desk people greets you Especially Miss Lila in the front desk made sure that my check in and check out went butter smooth Cheers to housekeeping staff they are doing good job It is worth the money kind of feels.
Amazing rooms with a stunning terrace view of Aravalli. The owner was a decent man but the staff was super cooperating. Special thanks to Harsh who was so polite and reachable at all times. Highly recommended.
The Raas Mahal, Jodhpur is a beautiful property in the walled city. Nestled at the foot of the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, it is an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the old city. Beautifully laid out with gardens and water bodies and lovely terrace dining facilities offer beautiful views of the fort. Located right near the old step well now being maintained by them and the Jodhpur Regeneration Project, the area around is clean with lots of cafes and nice shops dotting the walled city. The rooms are top notch with modern amenities and the food is nice too with a selection of various cuisines. The breakfast spread ( included) was generous and the other meals we had which were almost all of them were nice too. A special mention about the the staff. They were courteous, polite, pleasant and eager to serve which was great to see. If you’re driving in however you will have to negotiate some really narrow twisty lanes and bazaars before you drive in to the Raas and find the oasis suddenly open up. …
Excellent place to host conferences, meetings , seminars or treat guests. Its on main nagar road with ample parking space. Staff is well trained and excellent Service. Used multiple times for various things and always found to meet the expectations.
Thanks to Mr. Rajesh. I already stayed so many times at Hotel Raas Mahal. Hotel is located in very good location. Food was also very good. Staff was dressed ver neat and clean. Earlier hot water problem was there. But in my last stay hot water was there.and I am happy with them.
There's was not hit water at all during this peak winter and no action or no apologies from the management. They should be rated as 1 star. The breakfast was also not at all good. Management is terrible.
The hotel itself is OK when it comes to their infrastructure. But the facilities management is terribly bad. We had 3 nights with 3 rooms which is 9 room nights with family including a small kid. Had to struggle to take bath on all 3 days as the management and owners keep the water heaters off to save money in electricity. In the first day of check in I was told that there's 24 hrs hot water supply and as soon as I reached the room in all 3 rooms there was no hot water. This scene went on for the whole 3 days and on one day they were kind enough to bring 2 buckets of hot water to one room as we were complaining for 2 days. After that even the hot water buckets never came even though we asked for and they kept us waiting for hours just to end up taking shower in cold water during this peak winters. The owner of the hotel himself was standing next to us when we were telling the receptionist about the whole thing during check out. He didn't give any attention to the people who were complaining. Just acted as he didn't hear anything. This shows how well they care. It was not just us, we could see the whole hotel guests complaining at the reception and walking out of their rooms in the morning calling people for attention. Rooms were good and the housekeeping was good as well. Just the wardrobes were not very clean and looked old. (pic attached) And talking about the breakfast what they offer as they charge us including that, there were 3 Indian options, which was joy very edible. And the best thing about the breakfast is that, they say that it starts at 7 am but never start before 7.45 am. It seems that they realize that it's breakfast time only when they see lot of people gathering at the restaurant at the mentioned time, and then they start thinking of preparing something. It looked like a joke when they charge a lot in the name of 3 star hotel, but it would be a bit too much to rate this even 2 star. Nevertheless, there was this one guy, who was probably into house keeping who was the best thing in the hotel. His name is Roshan, who was helping us when ever we met them in the corridor. He always carried this very pleasant and cute smile, helped me fix the tap in the room which hardly gave any water at all. And he was the one who brought us the bucket of water. And rest of the days he was not on duty, and no one else cared. This guy really deserves great appreciation. He seemed to be a lower level employee of the hotel, but he should train the rest of the people including the owner on how to take care of their guests. Thanks Roshan for the great job. …
Truly beautiful hotel right in the heart of Jodhpur. True to the rest of the city it is painted blue and has the most amazing views of the fort. The whole place is absolutely stunning, beautiful swimming pool, lovely dining area that rambles through the courtyard giving areas of privacy if required and all in the peace and tranquility of the city. One interesting fact is that is is close by the local mosque so instead of getting chocolates on your pillow you get ear plugs! But it is a very special place and definitely not to be missed.
