We went to the Hotel Sweet Dreams for drinks on a rainy day in March. The service was great and the personnel was really supporting and forthcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone considering it.
This place was one of the best in India just because of the people who work there. The stuff is really helpful, room was cosy, and the restaurant was perfect. Our receptionists helped us immensely by giving us directions and advices. In the morning it can be loud since restaurant stuff are moving metal chairs loudly, so I would advise them to be more considerate to exhausted guests. The noise would start around 7AM. Bathroom can be cleaner but compared to Indian standards it's quite average. Location is perfect, the entrance is just two metres from the main streets and you can explore whole city on foot. In the evening you can enjoy lovely rooftop with Indian live music, nice food and very friendly and professional stuff. Prices are fair and morning sun at the rooftop with sound of pretty fountain and rich big breakfast will fill you up with energy for following day of exploring lovely Jaipur city.…
We loved our stay at hotel Sweet Dreams. The staff is really helpful, genuine and you can trust them. The rooms are basic, but fine. A nice warm shower. The roofterrace is beautiful, has good food and is a must see place.
This budget hotel is very nice, centrally located, with a lovely restaurant on the roof. The owner and employees are all very friendly, they welcomed us with Indian turbans and flower necklaces, and were all so kind. Also, you can always ask questions, but they are not pushy to you to buy or book certain services/tours with them. The restaurant serves such amazing food and there is a cute fountain wall where the pigeons bathe in the morning sun. Would definitely go there, even just for the cute pigeons!!
Fantastic rooftop restaurant. Great Indian gin and tonic. Food fabulous - waiters give excellent recommendations. Services 10/10. Location. Perfect. Great to relax and watch the hustle and bustle of the street below. Highly recommend!
I booked the hotel via booking.com and arranged a taxi to collect me at the airport. I was 30 minutes early! The hotel is well located and comfortable. My original booking was upgraded. All was well. Very good internet. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast (on my last morning they got the order wrong but no worries). I stayed for 4 nights and checked out paying the bill by credit card. The front desk arranged a taxi to the airport. What could possibly have gone wrong? Well the hotel don't think I checked in and they seem to be ask for payment. I've sent a copy of my credit card bill. If I'd paid in cash I'd have an issue as, more than 2 weeks after I got back, I've got rid of all my receipts. I just hope this is sorted and is a one off. Not happy.
We spend a couple of days here and were really happy. The service was really good, the staff friendly, rooms nice and clean, super atmosphere on the rooftop restaurant and delicious food! Totaly recomended, Inclouding the honeymoon surprise.
I came here with two friends and we had the most delicious thali! Not only that they also had a great band playing live music and the waiters were so friendly and helpful! Thank you so much for showing us great hospitality in Jaipur!
Spend two nights at this place and really enjoyed it. Highly professional and nice place for chill out. Restaurant is really nice set up, with good western and Indian food. Live music at night. Highly recommend that place.
Pros: easily accessible by car / taxis can stop outside. Breakfast is good value for money. Rooftop restaurant tastes good and the staff are good. Has a safe so you can store your belongings Cons: remains very loud and noisy sometimes from the rooftop restaurant. One of the days we stayed we heard karaoke / live band until 11pm at least. They played happy birthday at least 3 times. Easily audible from our room which was at the back, described as a more quiet room. Ongoing renovation works meant more noise. A lot of traffic noise too. Ac in our room didn't work but we didn't need it. They didn't provide us with any sheets or towels until we asked. We didn't know they also provided soap etc until our friends staying in a separate room mentioned it. Wi-Fi was quite slow too. The renovation works of the front desk is very off putting when you first arrive at the place with people knocking holes through walls / pipes and electrical wires hanging from the ceiling - doesn't seem very safe? I was worried we had completely gotten the location / booking wrong at first when someone directed us into the building site. Overall not to my expectation but it was a tolerable place to stay. …
