We are happy with the hospitality services that is provided by Reshav Thakur. He handled all the guest very patiently and actively. All the guest were happy with the allocations. Especially very thank full JW Marriott whole team to manage the early check-in. Thank you JW sahar for great experience.
I travel extensively on business and this is my all time favourite place to stay in mumbai. When I visited them the first time I had few issues, especially with small things like tv remote not working. Duty manager Ms. Farzana really turned this around 360 degrees for me by addressing all issues personally one by one. She is a great host and understands the subtle needs of guests amazingly well. I love JW, I wish you all the best and kudos to the entire services team who give their 100% to make your stay memorable. I highly recommend this place.
My second stay here. It is a good business hotel with spacious rooms. They are clean and modern. Staff attentive. Let down on this occasion by very loud wedding booming away when I was trying to sleep. The exec lounge was also closed as being used for IPL - so you get a corner of the downstairs lounge. This was not as good as the usual area
I nearly always stay at this hotel and have always found people very courteous and ever eager to serve. Would always recommend people to stay here. Proximity to the airport (walking distance) is also a major plus! Would continue to be my first choice hotel !!!
JW Marriott has been my preferred place to stay anytime I visit India, but today I realized for the first time that the reason behind my wonderful perception of this hotel is the hard work, dedication, and 200% attention to customer service at JW Aerocity Delhi. As it turns out , not all JW hotels keep the same standard. JW Sahar Mumbai, for example, is one you may want to steer clear of. The difference in customer service is apparent from the get go. The security check for luggage is disorganized. My bags were taken out of the car by a non-uniformed staff member, and while I tried to ensure that it was someone employed by the hotel, another one whisked them away without a word to me about where they were being taken. I was pointed in the right direction by a third staff member. My check-in experience was a hostile encounter with the staff member at the check-in desk, who seemed not to display the least amount of courtesy when informing me that the room I had booked was somehow a ‘smoking room’. Being asthmatic, I requested a ‘non-smoking’ one. In addition I had to ask a few other basic questions as the information wasn’t volunteered and then I was sent away with my card, once again without a hint of hospitality. When I arrived at my room, I could smell smoke. I reported as much and requested a different room and was met with further hostility and lack of courtesy. I was being made to feel like the staff was doing me a big favor, in spite of the hefty charge per night coming out of my pocket. I was assigned another room and rudely escorted to it. This room also turned out to be a smoking room. This time, the impolite behavior was over the top when I requested that they look at another room. If anyone was entitled to be cranky, rude, impatient, it should have been me, with the staff treating a jet-lagged customer the way they were well past midnight!!! I have traveled around the world and never been treated with anything less than great. The Sahar staff certainly acted extremely entitled. I was finally assigned a suitable room, but just the check-in experience turned out to be so terrible that I will never step foot in this hotel again. But since I’m writing a review about ‘standards’, it’s important to point out that opulence for JW Aerocity Delhi doesn’t end in the hotel lobby. You feel like royalty in your own room too, with well stocked minibar and bottled water in glass bottles - a stark contrast to an embarrassingly empty minibar at JW Sahar Mumbai and cheap plastic bottles for water (not even a good water brand). JW Sahar Mumbai could certainly help themselves in a big way by taking a page or two from JW Aerocity Delhi’s book in areas of hospitality, customer service, and just plain courtesy. Such a shame to the prestigious JW name, that perhaps JW ought to think hard and long if Sahar Mumbai should be revamped or, better yet, shut down!…
JW Marriott ( Sahar ) always pleasantly surprises me and my family. It is always wonderful to stay here as the staff exceeds the expectations. Right from checking in with a staff member “ Reshav Thakur “ who took care that we have a pleasant stay to check out. Food is delicious , gym / spa experience is tranquil and serene. Staff is friendly and courteous. Room service is impeccable and the property is maintained meticulously. Highly recommend this hotel. Very Impressive.
My wife and I stayed here from 28th to 30th April 2022 before flying onward to London. The good: - Location is perfect for airport passengers looking for a short stay before taking an onward flight. Very short taxi ride - walkable if it wasn’t for our luggage. - Room was perfect, spacious and was ample comfortable. Just as the picture displayed on bookings.com. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - Breakfast was lovely with numerous options from western classics to Indian curry’s and rotis to live cooking stations such as dosa (which we had and enjoyed) and omelettes (we don’t eat this so can’t speak to how that was). Plenty of drink options from juices to teas and coffees. Overall there is an abundance of choice to cater for all and the dining hall was nice and spacious. - Romanos restaurant was pleasant and had a nice atmosphere. We are vegetarian and had a bruschetta and beetroot ravioli for starters, veg lasagne for mains and cocoa salami for desert. All of which were lovely.. however it would be nice to have more options for vegetarians in the mains and dessert. - The hotel is very clean overall. Suggested Improvements: - On arrival at the hotel nobody coming to help me with our luggage which we had to pass through airport style security scanners before we could enter the hotel. So I had to do all that and then lug all our luggage to the front desk, only then did someone come and help us with it. The hotel was very busy when we arrived due to an Amazon event being held at the hotel so I’ll attribute the lack of assistance to the busyness of the hotel and staffs potential distraction tending to the more important celebrity clientele. I’d suggest that if the security arrangements remain the the hotel should do better at helping guests with their luggage on arrival (ie helping get bags out of the car and through the scanners p, to the desk and up to the rooms). - although cleanliness was overall great the only places where I think a more thorough clean is needed is; under the shower bench (where I could feel a slight slippery slimy feeling which occurs when wet areas are not regularly cleaned) and the room floors we stayed in had black scuff like marks peppered here and there. - We were told the pool closed at 3pm which I feel is ridiculous to start with as that way too early to close a pool. Nevertheless we adhered to this and were there from 1pm. We were a little hungry at approximately 2:15 so I went to try an place an order for food but the member of staff said flat out no as the pool will be closing at 3… I pressed to say there was still 45mins and that was plenty of time to eat and leave even if the food took 30mins to arrive. But I was still told flat out no… so with my tail between my legs I returned to the pool where we would have stayed till 3… but we ended up leaving early due to an unpleasant fishy odour coming from somewhere. The pool was clean and nice but the overall experience of using it and the accompanying services (pool menu) were a let down. To add to the disappointment dispite us being told the pool is closed at 3, looking down to the pool from our room at 6pm we could see a family using the pool..🤯😒 To conclude: The hotel overall, is wonderful, clean and staff are helpful. The few criticisms above were a little bit disappointing particularly the pool stuff, but otherwise our stay was pleasant.…
One of the day best Facilities I ever been to.. the kind of response from the crew, desk guys, food and ambience .. cannot ask for better . The quality at its best in all aspects.. I am definitely suggesting my fellow visitors to have a look .. you will never disappoint.. I am planning my next visit to Mumbai and staying in the same property .. Keep doing what you are doing currently.. wish you all the best
Amazing hotel with new amenities and facilities Next to the airport and good food spread both in room dining and in the restaurant I want to call out specifically Chef Dan today as he personally took care of my food requirements. He also packed me my favourite bread as a good bye present. His associated Chef Rajan and Ansari had also attended me at the breakfast Overall JW marriot is my best hotel for many reasons Special thanks to Shilpi Khanna for ensuring my stay went smooth inspite of high occupancy
I had a series of challenges in the beginning . Once they learnt about the challenges, Sandeep Singh - Director of operations made a sincere effort and ensured that I had a great time. Thank you Sandeep and the entire JW management team . I look forward to coming back and staying at the JW - Sahar.
