Stayed for a total of 6 nights (not in a row). The first time we were given a room on the second floor and it was damn stinking outside in the corridor. In the room it's fine. The second time we got a room on the fourth floor, not stinking at all but room is very small and bathroom is not separated from toilet. So if you shower, you will get your toilet and bassin all wet and dirty. Food is good but takes time. Staff is very very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Mr Anurag, Imran, Pappu ji, Bhupender and others. They are at your service at any time you need something. Location is good as it is close to all markets and CST.
Located close to VT station , this hotel is in prime location to travel anywhere in Mumbai. Rooms were clean and we loved the interior lighting in our room. 24*7 hot water was available. All other amenities as mentioned were available . The in house restaurant was located in the ground floor, food was OK but pricey. Choice of breakfast was limited but sufficient. Overall We loved our stay at Manama, however for the price they charge , the rooms were really small. It is not an budget hotel , probably a bit pricey for the room type they provide.
The hotel has great ambience.... Well connected via road and train.... Food was very good... I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel during entire period of my stay... Staffs are very co-operative... Cleanliness is also very appreciable... The USP of the hotel is his excellent customer service.... Really liked it a lot...
I was accommodated in this hotel from 26 to 29 May 2019, where I served the meals and unfortunately I was contaminated with SALMONELLA bacteria, and from 29 May until 05.June I was hospitalized in WOCKHARDT hospital. My advice, do NOT eat, IN THIS HOTEL RESTAURANT, Extremely high danger....
Pros: Only location. Near CST. Cons: Rooms absolutely cramped due to tiny space. Towels and Linens are heavily used ones and not so clean. Rooms service (food to be ordered) not cooperative at all. Washroom kits unavailable. Complimentary breakfast is very poor. Overall food quality below expectations. TV still running on non-HD channels.
Rooms are worth a stay Hotel Staff needs lot of Improvement. Time taken for serving Tea/Snacks Unusually long Facilities like TV not working even after repeated complaining. Reception staff also not friendly
Hotel location is good, very close to CST station. Clean and well maintained property. Kitchen was excellent..food is tasty. Prices (kitchen prices and per day tariff) are reasonable. Nice place to stay in.
I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my husband. Worst decision ever! Room so small with no windows. Sheets so dirty and there are many stains. They don’t even provide basic amenities like tootbrush & toothpaste. When you come to the lobby, you can feel the bad smells in there. What more disappointing is there is one front office staff who is really rude to us. My husband and i went back to hotel around 1AM after had some dinner outside. We came to lobby and smiled. That staff named DEEPAK without a smile and very rude tone call me. Thought that it was just some questions about breakfast or something, my husband heading to the lift and i went back to reception desk alone asking him is there something wrong. He then with rude tone asking me ‘where’s your ID’. Please note that i’m asian and my husband is caucasian. And he didn’t ask my husband, only me. That’s just downright racist. He treated me like i’m a working girl who been picked up by western guy. I work in hotel business and you don’t ask someone’s ID like that. When i asked him, “why do you need my ID? We gave you our passport when we check in” he said (still with the same rude tone) ‘okay then when did you check-in?’ i said yesterday, and it seems like he still doesn’t believe me and ask ‘okay what’s your room number?’. I showed him my key and he seemed surprised and said “oh okay we have your ID.” But my husband who hears everything already came and asked him to apologize to me or we want to speak with the manager. He was hesitant at first but finally apologize to me saying that it is the hotel’s rule to ask for ID. Having been working in hotel, i think that kind of attitude is not acceptable at all. Even if he’s not sure i’m the guest of the hotel, he can come to me asking me nicely what’s my room number instead of asking my ID. never during our trip in India, i experience this kind of racism. To other future travelers, don’t waste your time to stay in this horrible hotel :)…
The hotel is pathetic beyond words especially the staff ! You can't find a worse staff anywhere in the world . I had asked them to prepare my bill fr evening checkout in mrng 9 am n it wasn't ready till even 5 pm in the evening. The staff including the management were pathetic , disrespectful and least bothered. Except their Gen manager, rest of them need a reality check in the work they do.! I hope the future guests in the hotel the best Luk for the horrible times in their stay ahead. The management, if they care, pls prune out bad weeds in your staff to improve your hotel services.
The rooms are small, but that is expected in a city like Mumbai. The room service menu was good, but the buffet breakfast is limited. Although they claim to start the breakfast by 7.30 in the morning, dont expect anything before 8.15. The service is horrible. I left my keys for them to clean the room, they didnt. Once I reached back, I called them to clean, and they took 2 hours to send someone to clean. Each time I called they said 5 mins. They had done some repair work in the washroom while I was gone, but didnt bother cleaning the mess from the ground. So there were wires and other residuals left right underneath the shower. Internet never worked. The washroom didnt had an exhaust fan, or a window. So the smell remains inside, always.
