There's no option of no star, otherwise this place doesn't even stand in the category of hotel,& its rates start from 3000. I was shocked when i turned up at the place. I had booked superior room 2 weeks back, but at the time of check-in hotel people gave a room of bathroom size which was 1/4th the size of room I had booked. Dirty Linens in the room, no water service, bathroom in which you cannot turn around. The room is almost on the road, so 24 hours traffic noise as well as the reception's bell kept on ringing. Moreover They simply said this is what they have.Even after explaining him about the booking & commitment thing, he kept on saying "talk to booking agent, they booked your room, otherwise cancel it.He even said you can go if you don't want this".

Pros Clean room. Close to US consulate. Cons Right in the middle of a slum. Did not feel safe at night even though there is a police station bang opposite. Right next to the train tracks. Being in Mumbai can hear the trains go all through the night. No restaurant in the hotel or even close by. Need to go to BKC for food. Trouble getting transport at night. Room had razor thin walls.

I stayed in the Hotel for my US Visa Interview. It is very close to US Consulate Mumbai. It is just around 1.5 -2 km from the Hotel.Staff was polite and helpful. The person sitting in the reception told me the directions for going to US Consulate and also told me how much auto fare i should pay to go the airport. It was really helpful. But the room and bathroom are small. The are two different menus kept in the room,One for veg and Non veg.Veg Menu is little bit expensive. But Non veg menu is economical.Dinner was good. But the small size of the room and bathroom makes it an average hotel

My husband and I have been staying at the metro hotel since it opened, from 2013 .. my last stay was approximately 2 weeks ago and I was high dissappointed . The courtesy of the staff has deteriorated, the wifi didnt work, our bed sheets had marks on them and the tv in our room was located above the door .. we coud not see it. The whole night we were kept awake because of the constant rumblings of the trains from nearby and then in the morning we were swarmed with mosquitoes, which came from still water just behind the hotel. They came through the bathroom window which did not close. They then moved us to another room and then on checkout asked us to pay in more for the room we stayed in the second night even though it was through no fault of ours. The owner was arrogant and rude. I have been staying at this hotel for 3 years andi have had no problem . With the rise in their rates (the rates do not match the hotel) it is ni longer a good ckean budget a hotel. It is now a hotel aiming to be something it is not and who has lost all that I loved about it in their attempt. I found the place cold and unwelcoming and for that I would give it a low rating ...
