Decent sized rooms here which was an exception in Mumbai. Excellent location in Colaba, off of the main road so very quiet. A little more expensive than some other nearby options but we had our own bathroom, space to spead out (separate chair, table etc)...More
For very small, noisy room, the closest to reception, 1675 rupees in Jan 2012, way over-priced although it included quite a nice breakfast in the room. Bathroom and room in general both very clean. TV has english speaking channels with good movies 24/7. No internet...More

It’s the tourist central of the city with a liberal dose of rich history, iconic eating and drinking joints and artistic connections that have found prominent mentions in Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram. Stroll down Colaba Causeway for kitschy street shopping bargains. Take a break at the many
laid-back legendary bars & restaurants like Cafe Mondegar or Leopold Café. The vibrant vibe of Colaba is incomplete without the buzz at Mumbai’s most iconic tourist hub, Gateway of India & The Taj Mahal Hotel on the parallel lane. Sprinkled with designer boutiques, quaint cafes with rooftop sea view, the promenade is a popular route to go to Elephanta Caves & Alibaug.
