I stayed 3 times this month and the room in the building across the street was by far the best. Everything worked, the water was hot, the staff was nice, there were quite a few book shelves for exchange, and the location on a quiet street at the less busy end of Colaba is a plus. Wifi was good.

I checked late at night. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was a good size. Sheets and towels seemed clean but no longer white - grey (old) linens pretty typical in this level of hotel. A/C was good, although remote was broken and I had to stand on the bed to turn it on and off. Phone was broken.... More

I stayed twice in this hotel in the last few months. First time we had a big room on the ground floor, it was spacious but fill with mold. The sheets were Indian clean (not all white but washed) but humid. Was probably because of the weather (moonson) but still, doesn't take long to keep the windows open once a... More

This one is for budget travellers , set in a very good location , between Gateway of India and Colaba . This is the only plus point . The room I stayed in had a couple of cockroaches . I tried killing a few. I did not want to raise my voice because I did not want to run around... More

The location is decent, and so is the price, but you will definitely get better places for the same price. The rooms are located in different buildings, very few rooms are good and worth the price justified. The bigger rooms in the main building are grand and British-like. But it is very hard to avail this room.

Loved the place. Humble people and helpful too. I think this place is really good option as BnB. Stay was really comfortable. Just one thing that takes it backstep is it doesnt have connected or in-room washrooms. You get the designated personal washroom though. Pretty Big Rooms, 4 people can easily accomodate in one room with good number of luggage.... More

First up, there are multiple buildings which have rooms. We were in a room in the building across the street from the main reception. More like a service apartment. No real issues with the room for that price and location. However. My husband and I were staying together and we were asked to furnish our IDs. No problem so far.... More

Dear Madam, You are quite correct in stating it is none of our business, however it is a requirement from the Police hence we have no option but to follow the directive. This seems to be a major issue with many of our guests, but we have absolutely no option but to follow the directive of the police. More

Bentley’s has a great location just a 5 minute walk from the Gateway of India and the Taj Hotel with lots of restaurants and a few bars nearby. We stayed in a double room with a/c and for Mumbai the price was reasonable. The staff at Bentley’s pretty much leave you to your own devices and there is not much... More

This is more a guesthouse than a hotel. Rooms are reasonably sized but attached baths are not well done. The ground floor room assigned to us does not have a light over mirror in bathroom, making shaving a difficult exercise. Breakfast is meagre consis-ng of only sliced breads with butter+jam plus tea/coffee. There is no electric kettle, so one has... More

I highly recommend the location of this place, very near to India Gate, moments to Colaba Causeway market and everything you can wish to see, yet on a very quiet homely street. Rooms are not fantastic, but prices are cheap for Mumbai, which is the most expensive place I've stayed in India. I recommend turning up, rather than booking online... More
