The stay was royal .Thanks for the hospitality and amazing food. One suggestion the unavailability of the restaurants Masala Kraft was not notified us on prior .The restaurant was blocked for other private parties . Since we had just one day there we would like to explore all restaurants available .
This time, I stayed at the Heritage Wing of the hotel, which is a marvel of not just architecture, but also luxury. The design is amazing, the rooms luxurious, and the amenities were excellent, as was the service. The room was spotless, and everything in the room felt to be of the highest quality. However, I ordered some dinner after a late night event, and that was a disappointment, considering the reputation the hotel has for food. My Thai Chicken Curry had just that, Chicken. No vegetables or seasoning, and as a result, not much flavour and overall a bland experience. Considering the price I paid for that meal - sure, it was late at night, but sub-standard food at anytime is not acceptable - did dampen my experience. Hence, the 4 star rating, instead of the 5 I would have otherwise given to the hotel.…
I and my husband are travelling on a business trip to Mumbai on my birthday unfortunately and could not spend it with my children and mother. It was unavoidable and decided to have a quiet meal at the Taj Palace Hotel at SHAMIANA. restaurant. However it turned out to be one of our most beautiful evenings due to the lovely staff who made it so memorable for us. They brought us a surprise cake to celebrate ,rose pink champagne and sang Happy Birthday! We were and are so deeply touched. Thank you so much AZAR and Neham for making a quiet evening into an unforgettable evening. Taj Palace Hotel as ever never fails. It was the next best thing to having family here in Mumbai. Whats more Azar remembered me from my stay at the Taj Palace when he served myself and my daughter in 2016 by the pool! Now thats unbeatable!!!…

Literally everything we have to say about our experience at the Hotel is good. We are planning on doing another trip to India to visit other places and after staying at the Taj Mahal Palace we decided we will also include another visit to Mumbai just to enjoy the hotel for a couple of days. About the restaurants and the food, we tried a few of them and loved them all, but the Sea Lounge was our favourite. The breakfast is a dream and we enjoyed the Lounge not just in the morning but also during the Tea time and to have a drink at night. The pool was like a little oasis in the middle of the city and we found it magical to spend a couple of hours every day after visiting the city. About the staff, they were all the kindest people and also very helpful every time we asked for recomendations. The room was very nice and we were very confortable sleeping in it, also liked a lot the snacks the housekeeping left everyday and the little details like the flowers they put for us. We also really liked the shops, but there was this sari shop clled "The Indian Textiles co." which we fell in love with. Not only because the clothe was beautiful but because the owner was the sweetest woman we've met in our entire time in India and I should mention we met a lot of nice people. We had a Royal feel staying at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. It has a spectacular view of the Gateway of India. At the Sea lounge restaurant, we enjoyed the breakfast with the sea view. Check in and check out process is very smooth with a warm traditional welcome. Overall, a very well-maintained property with international standards. The staff is very friendly. Hygiene and safety are maintained to high standards.
As always the Taj went above & beyond to make sure my stay was as perfect as possible. The beauty of the Taj group really is it’s soul service. Being an Indian I really am proud to say our country has some world class hotels. However, above all in India it is the service that always goes above and beyond. This is something that is always displayed at the Taj in Mumbai. A great thing to do is to also take a tour around this beautiful property. Not only does it have so much history, but it has the best tour guide. Louella really made our tour really special. Even more so she made it extremely special for some guests of mine who were in town from abroad. So as always thank you to the Taj group, you really have the best team and Taj family.
I spent two nights at this hotel along with my wife, daughter and son-in-law in March 2022. We opted for the package that included Room, Breakfast and Dinner, opting to have lunch at some other restaurants. Overall the experience was excellent, service was friendly and on time, food was very good with a wide variety and the swimming pool and health club were clean and well maintained. Rooms were in the new tower, not the heritage block which was a bit of a disappointment. The front office staff right from check-in, stay and check-out were efficient, friendly and forthcoming.
We wished we had a chance to stay longer. Excellent facilities and very friendly staff. We had the most amazing time. Will definitely recommend to others. Restaurants were great with a wide selection of cuisine.
From customer service to attention to detail, everything I experienced was top-rated. But I have one suggestion: At least in the room's toilets, you should provide bidet spray, in addition to toilet paper.
