I stayed here because, last time I was sin Mumbai six years ago, I had often walked past and thought it looked very romantic and always wanted to stay there. Now with a bigger budget I decided to 'treat' myself and my son. Virtually nothing of that old world charm remains in the rooms. We paid around 3000/- for a... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2016 in a ground floor AC room at the front with window and fan. The room had been partitioned from a larger space and had sections of 3 D mouldings of birds and animals. We used the AC to cool down the room then used fan and open window at night, some... More

We stumbled into Hotel Moti after an unpleasant experience at a nearby hotel and we were sure glad that we did. Moti is a large somewhat rundown mansion which hints at its former glory. The location is excellent, very close to the Taj Mahal palace, gateway of India, and the causeway. We stayed 4 nights in the large downstairs room... More

Despite the fact that the manager may seem nice at first, he's terribly not trustworthy and owns a very dirty place which cannot justify such a price. Though they had confirmed my 2 nights stay, I've been welcomed hearing that they had actually no room for some dodgy reason and that they had arranged something in the owner's "private" room.... I have been travelling in India for a month, and I visited Moti International twice, in January. I loved the place (a colonial mansion in a GREAT location), I loved Raj, the runner of this hotel. He is warm and helpful and smiling, extremely welcoming. Of course, he is a manager, and has to earn his money (I am reading... More

Manager Raj made us feel most welcome when we stayed at Moti International last month. Situated a stone's throw from the Taj and seconds away from Colaba Causeway Moti is in a splendid location close to all the action. The Colonial era building is gorgeous and the rooms (with bathrooms attached) a good size & price for Mumbai standards. Our... More

For my first visit to Mumbai as a solo woman traveler, I wanted a little hand-holding, and the excellent staff here provided it. Raj, the manager, was prompt and professional with his emails, advised me how much to pay for taxis, and made himself available to answer all of my questions or just to chat. Sharat and the boys were... More

There's only one way to describe this hotel and it's manager, Raj - charming. The hotel is situation close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Raj is a complete dream of a host, being fluent in english and enthusiasm. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough for the price, which is standard for Mumbai. There is a lovely sitting area... This hotel was a surprisingly fantastic stay, we spent 4 days here before returning to UK. Raj was there to meet an greet us, and around most of the time to answer any questions, what a friendly and informative guy. Free wi-fi. The hotel was so centrally located, and within a minutes walk from the hub bub of Colaba. The... More
