Very good location minutes from Gateway of India. In the middle of Colaba restaurants and bars and next to Leopold Cafe. Room was ok but no view from the window. Shower had no tray therefore water went everywhere in the bathroom. Lights slightly on the...More
Please remember, if you book this place expect nothing out of the ordinary. The rooms are clean but tiny and beds ok (not rock hard as you can encounter in many hotels in India). Breakfast not included in price.

It’s the tourist central of the city with a liberal dose of rich history, iconic eating and drinking joints and artistic connections that have found prominent mentions in Gregory David Roberts’ Shantaram. Stroll down Colaba Causeway for kitschy street shopping bargains. Take a break at the many
laid-back legendary bars & restaurants like Cafe Mondegar or Leopold Café. The vibrant vibe of Colaba is incomplete without the buzz at Mumbai’s most iconic tourist hub, Gateway of India & The Taj Mahal Hotel on the parallel lane. Sprinkled with designer boutiques, quaint cafes with rooftop sea view, the promenade is a popular route to go to Elephanta Caves & Alibaug.
