Friendly and helpful staff at Hotel Fortune. Enjoyed my taxi tour with Jamal. I got to see a lot in the day I had and he was very kind. Enjoying my stay at the moment and time in Mumbai. Good location too. Thank you!
We went to the Bombay in month of March to roam over with my husband. Visit at a hotel and it was aahhhh superb. Everything was neat and clean services provided to us was excellent. Food quality and service was good.
The stay was very good as we all were with the family enjoyed alot and the visit was very memorable...the hospitality is amazing and the services are also very good and the staff is amazing as well .. Love to visit again very soon
We visited this property during first week of Oct 2019, I chosen this hotel based on reviews and it was 100 % true. We enjoyed the hotel in terms of its location( on mall road) , food and hospitality. I have even visited Taj, but i can give assurance that in terms of service it is incomparable ( it might be due to less occupancy at that time...!!!!!!! )
Visited mussoorie for two days. Found Fortune Grace Resort an excellent place. Happy open place on terrace area ,Spacious rooms , Lavish breakfast , friendly and eager to help staff - all made our trip memorable . Another highlight was the open area . I wish to stay here only whenever I visit the queen of hills .
Very small windowless rooms. Equipped ok though and close to Gateway to India. Ok for a night-stop but too claustrophobic for any longer. WiFi ok in rooms and reception area. A few shops nearby for meals.
Part of g-adventures tour. All I have to say is I literally couldn’t stay in this place and had to get a different hotel for the night in Mumbai....... Other members of the tour mentioned: tiny bathroom where you have to take the toilet roll out before you shower otherwise everything would get wet, dampness was unreal apparently. Someone had ridiculously damp pillows...... hence why I had to go somewhere different.
another gadventures traveller here Hot. Smelly. Damp. Bad wifi. That's all I've put in my notes. I think considering we spent less than a day here, it's one that can be sucked up. We just did not enjoy it at all. The one positive is the lovely security guard at the door.
Firstly let me say that I am sorry to have to give a poor review but I think it would be unfair to future travellers not to be honest about this hotel. We stayed here for one night as part of a tour. We are quite happy to stay in basic accommodation but still expect that it should be clean and the room at least big enough to sleep 2 people. The room was tiny - no windows and clearly meant for a single bed but they had put a double in - you could scarcely manoeuvre round it. Bathroom was so tiny we had to take the toilet roll out when showering as everything was soaked. The fittings were rusty and dirty. When we arrived the room door was open and the bathroom fan was on. This was to disguise the damp smell which greeted us when we came in later that evening. The whole bed was damp and smelly. The sheets grubby. In fact every bit of the room was grubby and damp. The air conditioning didn't work. In the middle of the night we had to put the bathroom fan on and wedge the main door ajar to try to let in a bit of air. This wasn't a one - off - everyone in our party had poor rooms. The only reasonable thing I can say is that the staff were pleasant enough.…
