Not the best service and a little bit aged, but an impressive heritage building with a lot of history and all you need is there, even a big pool. Built as the Maharajas guest house, now you can stay there in a real palace for a real good price.

It is beautiful piece of architecture with history standing tall all in white boasting it's beauty. It was built by the Wodeyars and gifted to British Viceroy which was used as a guesthouse by them says the history. Now it's given to private sector by the government itself in a leased basis which was turned into hotels & used by...

This historic property can be such a massive success if run properly. Currently it is managed by ITDC, and though the facilities are great, it is run shoddily as expected. The receptionist falters to confirm a booking, the restaurant serves a buffet spread that would be better at any local restaurant, the staff are so badly trained that they would...

Very good architecture but not used properly. Rooms are big and amenities are good. Pool is good. Food is okay. Breakfast bufft is very average . And there is no much crowd and people book for wedding mostly.

We stayed here for just one night. We were given a very palatial room which retained its original decor and certainly had all we required. The bathroom had an original bath but I really did not have enough time to work out the tap combinations required to get it to work! When we arrived a large wedding had just completed...

My wife and I stayed for one night at the Lakisha Mahal Palace and when we arrived, they were dismantling the props for one wedding and setting up for a wedding reception. The gardens were a bit unloved and the grass needed cutting and generally tidying up. Pool and changing rooms have not been upgraded for years, but were clean...

I had booked this room by online. Staff of the hotel were good and friendly and they provided welcome drinks. Check in check out was done on time. Service...

Stayed there for 3 nights at this supposedly 5 star property - Oh what a waste of nigh on four hundred pounds for a 3 night stay in a supposedly 'heritage room'. The room was spacious and clean and the whole place looks lovely at night - but in the cold light of day - the rooms are festooned by...

Having visited the Bar and the Restaurant the previous trip we decided to go to Mysore for one night to stay at the Palace Hotel, and we are glad we did. For a very reasonable rate we enjoyed our stay at the palace. The service was good, the deluxe room was good with a view of the pool. The bar...

This hotel was put under 5 star category on Booking.com which proved to be totally wrong. I would not rate this hotel as star hotel at all. But having a heritage structure we can put it under 2 star with clear message that hotel does not offer very good service. It is a typical Indian Govt hotel where you should...
