Wonderful courteous service. Gardens are lovely. Restaurant is excellent. Cafe never has change but good cakes and coffee. Internet is variable but desk staff are very helpful. Traffic noise is audible but surroundings make up for it by putting you in another place, with greenery and monkeys.

Had a one-night stop-over in Mysore during Dasara. All the hotels near centre (Palace) were occupied, so thought we would take a chance on this hotel. The hotel was a very nice surprise. Beware, you will not find A/C units anywhere in the hotel, and no TV in the rooms (there is a shared TV room, if there is something...

I stayed here with 4 friends on a weekend trip to Mysore from Bangalore. After a tiring day sight seeing we were warmly welcomed to the colonial style 'palace'. The staff, decked in green jump suits were proactive in providing an extra bed to accomodate our number. After being electrocuted by the light fittings, we were delighted by a charming...

A lovely old building with some stunning antique furniture and beautiful grounds. Wide range of rooms at all price points, we stayed in one of the most basic options but had a really comfortable room with excellent bathroom. The bar and restaurant become packed after dark and I would say this place is probably one of the better dining options...

We stayed 6 nights in this lovely hotel. We were in one of the travellers rooms, which while basic have a good ensuite and nice natural light and airflow. We were quite comfortable in the middle of summer even without AC. We ate at the restaurant often, and the breakfast is a feast! We also spent a lot of time...

The Green Hotel is something else! We stayed here for a weekend and loved it. The staff are just brilliant - so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there is so much choice. The evening meals were just delicious - the parathas and nan breads are well made and I would recommend the chicken tikka. It is so...

We had a great stay at the Green Hotel. The rooms (at the lower end of the price spectrum) are a little basic, but this wasn't an issue for us. The best qualities of the hotel are the lovely garden which is perfect for chilling out with food (v good) and a g&t in the evening, and the fact it...

The main building , the mansion is. very beautiful but the majority of rooms look like youth hostel rooms. They do not have double beds but two small beds, The decoration certainly could be improved. The garden is nice and the food is very good and varied.

This heritage hotel seems to be Mysore's best-kept secret; sure puts the quaint in, well, quaint. Though we never got around to staying here, their cafe, Cafe Malgudi, doles out the most delectable cakes and coffee. Notably, the lemon-drizzle! Plan to check-in on next visit for sure...
