My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2017, and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This is what I consider to be a true B&B, more about the hosts than the house. You are sharing their home, not living in a small hotel. If you enjoy getting to know your hosts and their other guests (as I...

Stephen and Manjula are the perfect hosts - Stephen is well informed, easy going and always ready to engage, Manjula is a wonderful cook providing great food and always served with a smile. This B&B is very well situated being a 10 minute rickshaw ride from the city centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quirky in a...

Having seen the great reviews, we booked with Stephen and Majula as the first leg of our South India trip. I had been to India before in the early 80's but for Louise it was her first experience of India. We could not have picked better. Arriving jet-lagged and weary on an overnight flight to Bangalore, Stephen arranged a car...

Thank you Charles and Louise. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed ourselves with you. It is such a fun combination, having guests at the BnB so we get to know you reasonably well and then having a venture together on Srirangaptnam to have real fun together and become good friends. The photos of your stay are now posted...

Staying with Manjula and Stephen early on, on this trip to India was the best decision we've ever taken! We have never learnt so much in such a short time! Firstly, Manjula and Stephen have created a beautiful home which they bend over backwards to share with their guests so that you really do feel like a proper member of...

We had a lovely three nights at Stephen and Manjula's wonderful B&B in the outskirts of Mysore. Stephen is really well informed and Manjula has a great network of auto-rickshaw drivers who know all there is left to know about this fascinating area. Stephen and Manjula provide a welcome so warm we didn't want to leave! We'll certainly be back!

I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful accommodation. Stephen and Manjula are superb hosts, who delight in making their guests as comfortable as possible. Mysore BnB is clean, quiet and friendly. Manjula's cooking is divine and Stephen's knowledge of Mysore allows him to design trips/tours to meet guest's individual interests/needs. Be sure to treat yourself to one of...

Stephen and Manjula are wonderful hosts with a warm welcome, good humour, excellent location and delicious meals. Five of us stayed here in January, 2017 for three nights before starting on a month-long, self-supported cycling trip. Stephen took us out on our introductory cycle, introducing we Canadians to riding on the left side of the road and how to cross...

We stayed for 2 nights travelling as 2 couples very early into our 4 week trip in south India and Sri Lanka. Stephen eased us into our stay with many informative insights from the perspective of an Englishman living in India - "Expect the unexpected" became our mantra for much of the rest of our trip. Stephen also took us...

We stayed at the Mysore Bed and Breakfast for four days in January. The house is big, comfortable, wonderfully decorated with a lovely rooftop patio for reading and watching the evening bats. Stephen and Manjula are great hosts. She's in charge of the house and he does the talking. Both do their parts very well. Take one of Stephen's bike...

You are very much sharing our home when you stay at Mysore Bed and Breakfast. Do search to find us, its easy and you'll not be disappointed. You can only make a reservation by contacting us directly. Available dates cannot be found here. Prices start at 1500 Rs We live in a quietish residential area, ten minutes in auto rickshaw, from the Palace at the centre of Mysore. We have a lounge, sun terrace, WiFi. There are three double bedrooms and lots of communal living space to meet our other guests. I'm Stephen, an English guy who's settled here seven years ago and set up the BnB five years back with Manjula, the one who holds it all together! We provide a good breakfast usually toast, scrambled egg, mushrooms, fruit, tea/coffee or Indian breakfast by arrangement and a big favourite is Manjula's home cooking and lessons. Mysore Bed and Breakfast also provides MyCycle guided bicycle tours (full details listed on Trip Advisor), have friendly trustworthy auto rickshaw drivers, publish postcards and create personal itineraries. We can advise on the best bits of wonderful Mysore and the surrounding area to suit your wishes and help with your continuing trip.
