Hostel is ok, for those on a bit lower budget. Rooms are small but clean, we got the clean sheets and towels. Wifi is available and it works fine. One day means that you need to check out 24h after checking in, so our advice is to spend some time in Mysore first if you arrive early in the morning....

The positives were that we were able to check in at 9am for no extra cost which was greatly appreciated as we had arrived from an overnight bus. Also it's in a decent location - about a 15 minute walk from the palace. However the rooms are not in great condition - they weren't very clean, are small (the bathroom...

This is a good accommodation for those who are looking for a budget hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was very neat and clean. The room was not very spacious but had enough room for us (3 Adults and 2 Kids). They arranged us a good taxi to move around. The taxi driver turned out to be...

As far as cheap places go, it was pretty clean and great location for walking around the sites. Mega store and liquor store both across the street. We booked a cab through them which didn't exactly get us where we needed to go so be very clear before booking.

Found this place after first choice fell through. Staff were very friendly, though a bit too pushy about using their services. Room was good size and clean, and it was only a short walk from the centre of Mysore. Probably slightly more expensive than I would have liked, but still good value. Note though, it's described as having a restaurant,...

We did not enjoy our stay at sangeeth as the room was filthy, noisy and just had a nasty feeling about it. The bathroom was so dirty, the tap was leaking, they promised hot water but there was not even a hot water tap at all! There was a huge ball of hair next to the bed. The blankets were...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in March 2013 during a 5 month trip in India. Comparitively, this was at a passable standard for budget accommodation in India... you can do a lot worse! The manager was helpful for the information we needed but, as previously stated, perhaps acting a little on personal gain otherwise. A good location: most attractions...

Not bad little rooms for the price and we had chai brought up every morning. Nicely located within walking distance of any of Mysore's attractions and the staff were helpful although whenever they heard we had bought/done something they always told us we should do it through them/ask them where to shop which in our experience means sending you to...

Mysore's hostels are in general not very good, and Sangeeth was apparently a good and clean option, however we regretted that decision for more than a month! The main reason is because we caught bed bugs in one (apparently) clean room, and we were with extremely itchy and painfull bugs in our skin for almost 3 weeks. Second of all,...
