After a long journey by air and then road the Reception at the Hotel was a welcoming sight. Traditional, Indian ethnic decor, lots of paintings sculptures, potted plants and a serene ambiance was just what we needed. Check in was smooth and quick. Our rooms on the 1st floor were very large, clean and well appointed with individual balconies. The ethnic interiors and furniture made for a special, warm atmosphere, a change from your standard, modern 4 star interior. The grounds are a delight, green lawns and many trees, a summer house and an outdoor breakfast place in the garden. The place also has a small indoor and outdoor games area as well as a swimming pool . Buffet breakfast was hot and sumptuous, more importantly, served with a smile. The dishes we ordered for dinner were also very delicious. A place I would recommend for anyone wanting a quiet, luxurious place in this bustling city of Mysore…
Absolute green heaven just 5 mins from the Mysore Palace! This place is awesome in a 3 acre property right next to the Sachidananda Ashram with eco-friendly constructed rooms and big lush green lawn and garden. The rooms are big and very clean, staff is very hospitable and extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant is delicious! Perfect place for family as there is ample space for the kids to run around and have fun. The resort a very well maintained pool, table tennis table, carrom board, basketball court, cricket net and a few board games The best part to me personally is that this place has opted for NO liquor license. off course you can bring in your wine but the resort doesnt serve you liquor and to me this was perfect! This is the place we will choose to stay in Mysore for sure!…
If it is Mysore, we recommend The Village. We were 30 of us stayed here for 2 nights 3 days during December. We all had wonderful time. Food was so homely, tasty and lots of varieties. Very friendly staff. It's rare to see such a very clean swimming pool well maintained. Lots of birds on top of the trees in morning, photographers shall have good time. Really beautiful place to stay. Williams and all his staff are really helpful. This is right next to Shuka Vana Birds sanctuary sgsbirds.com All the rooms are very spacious and very clean, well maintained. Great place to relax, spend time with family. This is close to palace and just right below the Chamundi hills.
This place is so quiet and peaceful. Lush green. We had a comfortable room that was spacious enough to bring in an extra cot and really enjoyed sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning. The bathroom was very clean and well kept as well. The breakfast buffet was excellent and you could get your choice of made to order dosa or omelet. The service was really superb and to be commended. The only small knock on this place is that we had a not so great dinner in the restaurant with undercooked chicken being the worst part. Maybe they were just having an off night, as the breakfast the next morning was much better. The location is very good, next door to the ashram that contains the bonsai garden and aviary and very close to Chamundi hills. Only a short drive to Mysore palace. Overall, I would highly highly recommend this property while visiting Mysore.…
The best place to spend some time together with your dear ones. The view from the resort is really happy to see. Food was good. And the staff was also super. Restaurant ambience was peaceful. Loved being here
